    I called Progressive Plumbing Services on Oct 3rd, 2023 to have someone to come out and find a leak that was located in front of my house. The Plumber came out and located the leak but also decided to fix it without my consent. I was never I updated by the plumber on the progress of the issue besides that he would have to shut my water off. I was recently contacted by ************************* on June 26, 2023 telling they are going to put a lien on my home if I don't pay them. When I told them I didn't ask for the plumber to fix the issue but to only to find it. They advised that since it's been so long ago they will only reduce the bill to $700 instead of $916.58. I never signed a contract for the work to be done nor did the plumber call to keep me updated on the issue with the leak. I should have only been charged for having someone to come out and look at the issue which was $125 per *************************.

    The customer called in for a water leak in her yard. While onsite the Technician notified the resident that the water will have to be turned off in order to make the ************ the repair was made the water was turned back on and checked.

    This was discussed with the home owner which does not want to pay for services preformed and completed and her residence. Please all contractors make note that this individual does not pay their bills once a service was provided.

    I am rejecting this response because: I called the technician due to a failure of update on where the leak was coming from and the technician advised me that he would have to turn off my water to find out where the leak is coming from and not to fix the issue. The business response that is being provided is not correct. As I stated in my complaint I didn't give my consent to fix the issue; I was never advised on what the problem was.
