      I was sold an airsense 11 by hometown medical in June. The unit itself never worked properly. The humidifier was giving me errors from day 1. I called and brought this up to them and they mentioned how long the warranty was and to watch it. I did. A few weeks later I took it back up there. They looked at the unit and got into the error log on their pc and saw the constant errors from the heating unit. I was then told that it keeps clearing the error out though, so lets just give it a while and see if it fixes itself. Well it never did. I get in touch with them again. I mention the humidifier and how this has dragged on too long and it needs to be corrected. I am told they can send it off for repairs, BUT they dont have any loaners and cant offer one. HOWEVER, they have units they can rent me! No loaners for faulty units that they sell, but sure we have one if you wanna pay for it! That is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever been told. The idea of telling someone that stops breathing while they are sleeping to just go without is dangerous and opens yourself up to major law suits if something happens to the patient. Since the weather has cooled down and the humidity is dropping inside, its become very hard to wear it now. The humidifier needs to work and honestly, I shouldnt even have to have mine repaired. I didnt pay full price for a refurb unit which is basically what I would have been sold since it never worked from day 1. Due to not being able to use the cpap properly, I have fallen back into major anxiety. Im not getting any quality sleep and Im at my **** end. This unit needs to be replaced ASAP.
