The Gulfport HWY 49 location has some of the worst tellers working the drive through, the one working on 5/3/2023 at 430pm CST was rude and treats you like you are wasting her time. I have banked with this location for many years and this is the first time myself and my partner felt so disrespected. I truly do not even want to give this location a star. I had a homeowners insurance check that had my name and my partners name on it (we do not have joint accounts) I called the bank at 10 10 AM on May 3rd 2023 to verify that I could even cash this check (so I could send it to my mortgage company) and went over the fact that it was a third party check, had someone else name on it, that person does not have an account with that bank but I do, and who the check was from. The lady on the phone told me I could cash it as long as both parties were present as it was not a state or federal check. Get to the window with my ID and my partners ID and my GOD you would have thought we printed this check our self and committed a crime! She had to go get other people to look and they laughed and walked away (not sure what that was for) and at one point she had someone on the phone stating to me "oh yea Im on the phone with her now and she said it was about a insurance check" but then had the so called manager walk over to say they " didn't know who told me that and they would have to wait a day to pull the audio to see". I have no idea why there was a need for the attitude which is what made me get an attitude. Also, how can someone tell you that you can do something but when you show up you are told something completely different. It's for reasons such as this as to why I believe the teller was racist- she was a skinny white lady with dark hair again working the drive through at 4:30pm CST on 5/3/2023.
