They will not work with you AT ALL! God forbid you get in a situation and miss ONE NOTE they will hassle you and hassle you and hassle you FOR YEARS even if you continue to make regular payments. They are not helpful AT ALL. Dont let your brother get paralyzed and miss a note, they will hound you and hound you and do absolutely nothing. I mean NOTHING at all to help you get back on track. They will threaten you for repossession and to auction your car off! If I could give 0 stars I would.Review from Iris W

I’ve been with Keesler for about nine years Multiple loans I have never been late on not one payment. my credit score is mid eight hundreds. I take it serious when it comes to my credit score. My wife and I didn’t realize that we did not pay the loan and when we did, we paid it immediately. we paid it on the 15th, 30 days would’ve been on the 18th, on their website. We thought it would be OK and it would not go against our credit but since it did not post on their website until the 19th, they marked it on our credit which dropped my credit score significantly, I called and asked them to take it off and they would not. They were very rude. Very disrespectful. I will no longer be doing business with Keesler. I’m paying off my loans with them ASAP and no longer do business with them. I will be going with my other credit union, which is Louisiana Federal. Now we have to hide an attorney to fight thisKeesler Federal Credit Union Response

We appreciate your many years of membership and on-time payments. While we wish to do everything we can to support our members, we have an obligation to the credit bureaus to report accurately. We did research this transaction, and there is a notation that the member was made aware of the 3 business day processing period, which is why this fell outside of 30 days. We will be speaking with the representatives who handled your call to review the interaction and impress upon them the importance of respectful serviceReview from Heather B

Stay far away from this nightmarish establishment. Believe me, the loan is not worth having to deal with the most incompetent individuals on the planet. They said that they mailed out my title before my loan was paid off? I obviously never received anything. Now, that I have paid off my signature loan, they said that since the title was already mailed out, I will have to file a "lean release" to obtain my title. I still haven't received my check for the credit on my signature loan and it's been over a month. You'll have to wait forever on the phone to actually speak with someone and once you do, you'll need to fill out additional requests and send emails for additional assistance. This has been a crazy ride! No one seems to know what they are doing and the red tape that a customer has to go through is very time consuming and disheartening. Find another bank that is willing to give you a loan. This place will really put you through the ringer!Review from Barbara B

Went in to open a simple debit account and was told that I don’t have overdraft protection. I agreed and had no issue because it’s an account for small incidentals and recreation. I deposit $300-500 in the account each visit monthly. I have recently been being charged $25 in overdraft fees that make no sense. When I asked how could I overdraft when I can see and ONLY use what’s available , they claimed that they allowed it as a “promise”. Excuse me what ?! The money was taken from my available balance immediately. I asked the agent to go through my transactions with a calculator and she could not see where I didn’t have the funds. So I said , well why am I being charged ?! Then she went into a “ well your paperwork you signed said that you can’t dispute OD charges . So I asked , “ Well why did 4 of your agent submit request for refunds if this was an established rule that’s discussed when opening the account” . She had no answer . I am closing my account . This is absurd.Review from Nikki J

I've been with Keesler for over 20 years now without any issues. However, I recently opened a new credit card and it's been the WORST experience. If I didn't already take a hit to my credit for this, I would close it. I applied to upgrade my credit card and requested to have my husband on the card. I was told he can't be on the card or on my accounts based on something from YEARS ago that isn't even on his credit anymore. My husband has great credit and this doesn't make any sense to me. Why would I keep accounts at a credit union that my husband can't be on? I moved forward with the credit card application because I took the credit hit for it. I got approved but then was told I needed to provide proof of income that is deposited into my account and was told one of my sources of income couldn't be included even though it was last time. I added my husband as an authorized user and sent back the form on 12/14. My old credit card was closed without notice before the new cards were here and my husband was left at a gas station without payment at 6 in the morning. I had to call and get this reversed. I confirmed both cards were on the way. Then I received my card and my husband didn't have his. I had to call AGAIN to be told it was never ordered. Someone dropped the ball and didn't input his authorized user information. I requested an expedited card and was told they would call me with the tracking number. Here I am on the phone AGAIN because I was never given a tracking number for a card I have to be home to sign for. Then I was told there wasn't a call back listed in the computer for me. I've spent HOURS on hold the last two weeks and had to make numerous calls to constantly correct situations. It's been one thing after another and I really don't see a reason to stay with Keesler at this point, especially with how they have treated my husband and have handled this entire situation. I will also be filing a complaint with NSUA.Review from Tori N

I would not recommend Keesler! I will be closing my account . I’ve never had this problem up until now. My job I get paid on the 7th and on the 22nd. Everyone got paid but me , their money reach their account. So I went to Keesler and the teller told me . “ oh it’s Columbus Day , your money will not hit your account until Tuesday!” Your job haven’t release your funds, you may have to call them. I told her that is not true! Everybody gets paid on the 7th no matter what. It had nothing to do with my job it’s Keesler!! Make a long story short. I called KFCU and told them my situation. The lady on the phone told me that KFCU is federal funded and they don’t have available funds until the FEDS releases it. She said some banks get paid earlier while Keesler don’t have that option!! (2) people told me two different things. When I checked my online banking it’s still saying pending direct deposit. They are holding my ******* money This is the worse bank ever as soon as I get paid I will be closing my account and going to another branch. I work 40 minutes away from my house I was depending on my money so that I can filled up my gas tank. Oh yeah not to mention the debit cards lol.. SMHReview from D. E M

This is a small town credit union not for people who live and do business in Mobile, Al., We called for a payoff and talk to *****, however, she was not the one who said we needed to go in the office with a license to prove identity. We tried twice. No person living in Mobile, Alabama or this state need to do business with the Jack up Credit Union. We are trying to pay off a loan early and they are too small in their minds to undestan what they lost with us. No more personal or company business ever. We have always patronized our local credit union or *** Bank. Do use them no matter how low their interest rate may be. If you can not log in or remember certain information over the phone they act as if you are a criminal. That is a company that could not be in business. If you are a financial company like *** I can change passwords if I forget, and at any time. Never will we do business with Keesler Credit Union from Biloxi, Mississippi again in this world. Choosse your local credit union in our home town of Mobile.
