I purchased a 2018 used Jeep Wrangler on sept 18, 2023. During the test drive, I heard a noise, I asked twice about this ticking noise. Twice! I was told twice this was normal. I purchased the Jeep, paid ********* down payment. Financed *********, which included ******* extended warranty. I drove the Jeep maybe 5 times, had it 10 days. It broke down on sept 28th, 2023. The Jeep is still in the shop. The mechanic is the only person who has told me the truth. I have been to the dealership multiple times to talk to them, talked to ***** Eaton twice. I have not been able to get my money back, even though it has been admitted the Jeep was sold to me with the engine bad. And the Jeep was not inspected by Eatons service department after being traded in and before being sold to me, but that was not disclosed to me before I purchased the Jeep. I can not get anything done by the dealership, even though they all know they are in the wrong. The lifters were bad when it was sold to me, they replaced the lifters twice. Now, the Jeep has metal pieces in the motor, the timing is off from the previous owner driving the with bad lifters for an extended time. Had I not asked about the noise I heard before buying and been lied to twice, this would be all on me. But, I asked twice, and was completely lied to. I have witnesses for all of my conversations with everyone at Eaton. I have given them 3 plus months to fix the jeep while Im making payments and paying insurance. ***** Eaton has used my extended warranty to fix a problem he had on his car lot from the beginning. And will not make the situation right. As I said, the mechanic is the only honest person in this situation. Along with the Jeep being broken down, I have tried to refinance since 2-3 weeks after purchasing. As of December 26th, 2023, GM still does not have the paperwork from the dealership they need to get a title from the state if MS. I have called about this multiple times as well and lied to as well.
