I bought a used 2019 ***** 1500 from ******** and it was my biggest mistake. I had the truck ONE day and the battery went out. $265 I had to spend. Company said theyd send me a check for it. NEVER received it. Also said they would have the exhaust fixed. It was leaking and making a loud noise. Come to find out after I looked it had been cut and put back together with clamps. I paid $700 to get it fixed and redone. With no help of ********. Then two weeks before my first payment I got **** on my land feeding my animals so I used my 4-wheel drive and when I did the front differential clamps broke off of the frame of the truck which then twisted the differential and broke it. I had warranty which should have covered that but didnt. I have been fighting with this truck since the day I bought it in December 21 2023 and its now March 9th 2024 and still paying for a truck that cant be drove because its going to take $5,491.66 that I dont have right now. Not to mention I was told ******** owns their warranty and refuses to take accountability.Business Response

I have fought with this truck since day one. I was lied to and then not compensated when told I would be. I will now be $6456.67 in the hole because this company will not take accountability. They sold me a warranty and lied on it and warranty dropped me because of what they done on their end in the paper work. On January 11th, I took our 2015 Dodge Journey to ******** Chrysler Dodge Jeep, Jackson, MS for routine oil change and filter change and multi point inspection at ****** miles plus spark plug replacement.All routine.Three weeks later, my wife and her girlfriend drove about 75 miles south heading for a historical and a restaurant destination.She saw an oil heating light go on but is in rural/country area where there were no homes and unfavorable for security.She tried to get near her destination, but the Journey broke down and she pulled off on the side of the highway in a rural location.I contacted a friend nearby to pick up the women and take them to his house; and to call a tow truck to a nearby small town mechanic garage.The mechanic on Monday following attempted to repair the Journey.He was unsuccessful and called me for directions. I told him to take the Journey to ********.Total towing charge:$475.I went to ********** department that afternoon and gave direction to the service attendant to repair the Journey.After 3 weeks, I took the initiative to call a couple of times and still didnt hear from the service manager and then went personally to visit the General Manager.He called in the Service Manager for a report on the ******************* manager wrote notes as though he is ignorant of my problem with the red Journey and then calls me late that day to report the motor is burned up. I told the service managerthat I believed that the oil quantity was deficient probably by a couple of quarts and that caused the engine issue; and that it did not leak out on my driveway where it is parked.I have the picture attached. Nor was I irresponsible not to check the oil level after only 3 weeks.I never had before.I dont even keep oil as a practice to refill when needed.The service manager argued against my contention.Stalemate occurred.I would like to have the ***** Blue Book trade value, $7320, as satisfaction.Business Response

They performed an oil change and replaced the spark plugs on January 12, 2024 at ***** miles (RO ****** below). The vehicle was towed to ** on February 07, 2024 at ***** miles (RO ******). That is nearly 4 weeks and 966 miles later. Once towed to us, the shop ******* first checked and verified that the engine oil level was within the acceptable range. ************** noted in his statement that he had not seen any signs of an oil leak in his driveway where it was parked. However, we still performed a lift inspection and confirmed there are no signs of an engine oil leak. He did find evidence of a coolant leak at this time and after further investigation found the heater hose assembly had broken and caused a rapid loss of coolant. Had the vehicle stopped sooner it may have mitigated the damages but as stated by ****************, they continued driving it, which only caused further damage. The shop ******* noted that the engine overheated so badly that it melted sensors completely out of the cylinder head. This is unrelated to the oil change or spark plug replacement performed by us.Customer Answer

So if it was a heater hose issue, its news to me that the hoses were deficient to the point of needing news ones. Are customers responsible to check for deficiencies there? That would seem to be covered by the multi-point inspection before it last left ********** department on January 11th, like the spark plugs and other times air and cabin filters I occasionally am alerted to and consent replacement for.
I dont believe the thousand mile road experience before the burn up should be an issue here. And it was exactly THREE weeks from departing their shop that the breakdown occurred.

The spark plugs that ***************** replaced on that visit were not OBVIOUS and I didnt notice while driving.
It would seem that the leak that did occur only 3 weeks later and that resulted in the engine burn up would been at least somewhat evident after ***** miles.
Im willing to compromise and settle for 1/2 the current ***** Blue Book value of the 2015 Dodge Journey.

No, the spark plug werent obvious as they are replaced at maintenance intervals and no one, including the customers, know when a vehicle will develop a coolant leak, but they all do at some time in their use. My wife and I purchased a 2017 Kia Sorento from this dealership. When we bought the SUV they automatically added a vehicle warranty repair contract in the deal without asking if we wanted one, you can see it has a computer generated signature on it. When we figured this out we requested a refund, which would go to ALLY Bank who financed the vehicle as seen in second attachment with my handwritten signature. We keep checking with ALLY Bank, but they never received a refund, I have asked two more times for the refund and was told it would be done, latest was last week and I was told the company would call me, but they never did and still no refund. We have not used the service and the original date of request was 10/30/23. We never requested the contract, I did not sign it and feel I should receive the entire $4000.00 credit back on my loan. During this period of when we bought the 2017, we bought a 2019 Optima from them, again they automatically added the service contract and a GAP contract, which after the first purchase we looked for it and saw that, refused to buy unless they took them out which they did. This should be illegal to do in the first place and I have thought about legal action, but have decided that just getting my funds back would be enough.Business Response

I purchased a ram **** 6.4 Hemi last year and have had multiple problems with this vehicle. I have taken it in several times and they keep saying they can't duplicate. the vehicle will not crank sometimes, will not shift gears, breaking issues, seatbelts not retracting, Uconnect/screen issues, smoking and cruise control going out of control. They have had it in the shop several times and never put it in the system that they had the truck. last time it was in for 7 weeks and they didn't do anything and didn't give me any paperwork showing it was ever there. I also have a Jeep that has been in for repairs and never has been fixed either. I have tried contacting the manager several times and never get a response. I've filed a complaint with Chrysler/Stellantis and they can't seem to get a response either.Business Response

from the service manager: One of the seatbelts is here. The other one shows a shipping label has been created but it hasnt shipped. Dealer connect says it should be here tomorrow but *** doesnt back that up.
We were unable to duplicate any of the other concerns. When the customer came in and we talked about it the drivability issue only occurs in high altitudes.When he brings the truck back, we are going to look into whether or not there is a flash for high altitude operation.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: They had codes showing multiple problems with the vehicle. I had videos showing what it was doing. They had a lot more than just the seatbelts that could have been fixed. They told me just the other day that they had the seatbelts already there but now saying one isn't. I have the truck at a different dealership and they have been working with me as a dealership is supposed to do. They also did repairs to my Jeep and didn't replace parts correctly. On one vacuum line they broke a part and instead of replacing it they super glued it. My Jeep has been in the shop several times with them about the sluggish engine and they said they couldn't duplicate. I took it to the other dealership and the problem was found and fixed within one week. My truck is still at the other dealership with safety concerns of it going back on the road. I just want ******** to make things right and put me in another truck that I'm not afraid of driving.

Jeep dealerships have lied to me repeatedly. ******** in ********** and jackson have made this a miserable experience, and my car issue is still unresolved. On 8/16, I had an appt scheduled for someone at the gluckstadt store to look at my transmission. I have had issues with *********** jeep dealerships cancelling my apts. ********** promised to resolve it over the 5 days I left my car. On day 5, they called me say didn't have a transmission tech on staff. Then why did they take my car for those days? Then they took it without permission to the jackson location. Who didnt even touch it! Fast forward to this month and *********** locations are still canceling on me. So on Monday October 8th, I call **** in service at the jackson location. Reexplain my gripe and issues, he said bring it on wednesday at opening and he will get it done. At 730 on Wednesday 10/10, I gave the jeep keys to ****. Today at 11 am, they havent even started on it. I took a vacation day to get them my car. ******** service is atrocouis and have wasted my time. I just need the recalls and the transmission cpu module looked at. I thought they were required by law to fix recalls.Business Response

I purchased a new Dodge Ram 2500 with the Cummins Diesel engine last September. The truck has been in and out of the shop since I purchased it for miscellaneous issues. In April of this year I had a check engine light come one. I took the truck to Mac Haik Gluckstadt and they were unable to get me in, so I took it to Mac Haik in Flowood, I waited for the the truck. After 3 hours, they said they could not find any issues after they "Checked all the filters". Sent me on my way. I drove home, check engine light came on. When I went to leave my house, there was oil all over my driveway. I took the truck back and left it over night. Ironic after they "Checked all the filters" this happened and ruined my concrete driveway. They had my truck for about a week, for the check engine light and some oil "freeze plug" that had to be replaced. Since, then my truck has been to Mac Haik for the same check engine light just for it to come back on again. Same code. It came on again, I took my truck to Mac Haik in Gluckstadt because it is closest to my house. They had the truck for a week, unable to find the cause of the check engine light. Got the truck back, and as I was driving to work on the interstate, the light came on again. My truck has since been in the shop since July 10th. Yes they gave me a loaner vehicle, but I want my truck fixed or give me a new one. I only get updates when I call, and thus far you can tell they have no idea what is wrong with my truck. On May 6, 2023 I ******** **** purchased a leased 2020 Dodge Charger from Mac Haik. $32,000 car with a $744 monthly car note. On June 27, 2023 the car stopped on me on the highway. I immediately called Mac Haik and I was informed I have extended warranty get it to a shop near by. I gave my location and the supervisor Harry at the dealership told me the address to the nearest shop. I got the car to Dodge/ram of Greenwood Ms. They diagnosed the car giving mer details that the rear end went out. I called mak haik back informing them they told me call my extended warrant to start a claim; I did exactly that. Claims stated they would need to come out and view the vehicle. On July 3, 2023 claims went out to Greenwood Ms to review the vehicle. Claim was denied because they stated the vehicle was ruled as foul play. I asked the reviewer what he mean he stated that the vehicle has either been wrecked before because the rear end was twisted or some foul play was involved. I explained that no foul play was initiated that I’m a commercial truck driver I don’t play about my license this how I feed my family. Claims suggested I reach back out to dealership mak haik because he wasn’t changing his decisions about denying the claim. Mak Haik said claims lien because carfax doesn’t show the vehicle being wrecked and I know everything doesn’t be on the carfax so for sure I know Mak Haik knows something was wrong with this vehicle. It’s going on 2 months now mak haik still giving me the run around. I suggested they fix the car and add it to the end of my car he stated they don’t do that. I asked to trader the car he said I still have to pay another down payment. How and why should I when y’all sold me a lemon. I’ve asked for them to buy the car back they stated ill still be owing something because the car value drop when I left their lot with it. So, here I am stuck with a lemon I can’t afford to fix it while paying a $744 car note plus I didn’t even have the car long enough for me to be paying out of pocket for something I didn’t doBusiness Response

mapp (the extended warranty company) ((i think)) will be sending me all the information and pictures of this vehicle while it was in another shop where it was looked at. this was gross negligence on the customers behalf. tire rubber melted underneath the fender wells and rear tires bald from abuse. we were told her sone has been driving it. that being said, we will not be offering any assistance on this repair or financial stateCustomer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: we have inspected the car for smut it was no foul play. My son wasn’t driving this car I was! There was no smut or nothing underneath this car to say it was tires being burn or whatever they trying to say! The dealership where it was even said the car May had been wrecked before and Mac Haik was lien about the car fax! It really doesn’t matter now I’m keeping the car I found someone to fix it and the financing company had been working with me unlike mak Haik isn’t business at all just lien cover up their mistakes!!!!

I recently purchased a vehicle and manager told me my application for title would be in mail 7-10 business days. It’s over those days. I have seen no mail pertaining information to get my tag. I call them several times leaving voicemail and messages so they can inform me what’s going on. I have a vehicle that I cannot get a tag for. No one called me back. They barely answer the phone.
