      This is the third extremely large bill I have received in the last few years. Everytime NALGW take on some kind of project they put the debt to the customer. The first was a few years back when they remodeled the building they are now using for their office. My bill along with the other residents of union county's billed doubled. The next was last year when they purchased equipment to install fiber optical internet. Now they are installing the internet and I suppose have to pay for that, which is why my bill is over $700 this month. When you call to try to question the bill their rude staff just snaps I don't know and passes the call to a voice mail that nobody returns. We did not ask for fiber optic internet and should not foot the bill through our electric bills. There are so many complaints for this company. They need to be investigated for fraudulent practices.

      None of the things mentioned in the complaint are true. First month it got cold the bill was high. Read was double checked and it was accurate. NALGW rates have increased slightly but mostly due to TVA's rate increases. Their usage for this coming bill is high as well and that is what makes the bill high, usage. It has nothing to do with any projects that NALGW is currently working on.

      Called on 9/9/24 to get more information on transferring services. I was told I had to pay $371.12 (including gas deposit). They call me on 9/16/24 to tell me they shouldn't have taken my money for the gas deposit until I paid my august bill. They tell me that they will cut me off today (9/16/24) unless I pay $266.12. They then tell me that another $296 will be due on Friday (9/20/24). They then tell me that ANOTHER $364.35 is due on October 1st. They expect me to pay $935 in a 2 week period because of their mess up. The lady tried to explain to me what had happened and she couldn't. She got confused and transferred me to a manager. I'm still waiting on his call.

      My dad called to have power removed from the *********** of an old address so it could be moved to a new one. The clerk was rude and a smart @** from the start. There is absolutely no need to treat anyone the way my dad was treated and talked to today.

      They are claiming that we are being charged for a 40 day service cycle instead of a 30 days service cycle. The absolute highest bill we have gotten from them has been $176.06. This current bill is $479.80. With that math and extra 10 days I used $303.74 worth of electric. Basically they just chose to charge TWO extra months bills to the customer for no legitimate reason and have no explanation as to why or how they got the numbers they’re trying to charge.

      Never received deposit back as was promised when I disconnected services. Paid final bill and everything. Tried to reach out multiple times but no response. Address was *** ********** **** **** **** ** *** ******* ** *****
