I contracted Davis Plumbing to repair a drainage/backup problem for my sewer system. Workers came, reviewed the backup of sewage in toilets, tubs and sinks and washer. After a while the workers tested the drainage of newly run water although it was a brief test and assured me the problem had been taken care of and there would be no more issues. They requested payment of $567 and that amount was paid. I questioned them about the washer and was told there would be no more problem from it because it was faulty. I did not use the washer for several days because of that. I brought another washer in and tried to wash a load of clothes. The sewage backup happened all over again and this was an entirely different washer. I called the company and advised they would need to come fix the problem. I was told the workers assured the company that they had made the need repair. I was told they had a lot of work and couldn't get back to me. I was given the name of another plumbing company to contact. I did not contact the referred company but did contact a totally different plumbing company who came out and make the repair and I've had no sewage backup problem. I had to borrow money to pay the 2nd plumber. I requested a refund of the original $567 from Davis and was basically told I'd have to produce the camera footage and detailed information from the 2nd plumbing company for any refund to be considered but basically there would be no refund. Please let me point out that Davis never produced camera footage or an explanation of how they determined they'd cleared the issue. The 2nd plumbing company did advise the issue had to do with a blockage that was caused by roots clogging the drainage line and they cleared it. Therefore, the washer had nothing to do with the issue except that it produced a large amount of water to drain off and the root issue continued to cause a very slow drainage so there was backup sewage to the house.
