Do not buy an auto from this company. They will lie to you and once you sign and then catch the mistake they will not fix it. Very rude and unprofessional. Save you time and money and go to another dealership that will do right by you. Do not buy from Carlock Toyota!Carlock Toyota of Tupelo

I tool my car in to get my brakes service which I paid $509. I had to sit about 4 or 5 hours waiting. Once they were done I drove off the lot and immediately noticed my car was making a loud sound so I took it back and they said it was the rotors and that something had went wrong with the machine I talk to the Manager name ***** who said it was the aisle this is now day 3 that my car had been up there after they said they drove it again and that it was the transmission. I didn't have any problems before I took my car to them it was not making any sounds or anything I tried to talk to someone in corporate department and told him what happened and he left the table said he would be back but never returned. They gave me the run aroundCarlock Toyota of Tupelo

Thank you for your concern. Ms. ****** was in our shop 2 weeks prior to this service, for an oil change. The video taken for recommended repairs showed damage to her axle on the passenger side and a damaged wheel and hub cap. The noise wasn't mentioned at that time and that damage is what is causing the noise. It has nothing to do with her brakes or the work performed by us at either visit.Review fromNora S

1 starOvercharged me $60 for oil change and tire rotation from the last time they serviced my vehicle. Said labor cost went from $30 to 69.99. Seems not reasonable. Don’t seem to care if I’ve been a customer for about 4 years now. Very unhappy with their attitude.Review fromJocelyn P

I paid down on a vehicle May 4, 2023. After I paid the money down and did the paperwork, they then decided to tell me that I would have to wait two weeks for the title to the vehicle so I could not drive off in the vehicle after making a down payment. ***** ******* was the salesman. Might I add that not having the vehicle for two weeks, the payment date could not change. The vehicle was delivered on the 10th day even though ***** made excuses and said it would not be delivered till the next day. ***** ******* promised that they would take care of this and didn't. ***** said that they would accommodate me and didn't. I have had the vehicle only two weeks and now I am having to make a car note after only having the vehicle two weeks which is unfair. On day eleven the bank would get in touch with ***** ******* so it was delivered Day 10 at around five after I had to beg them to bring it. ***** ******* didn't take responsibility for anything that he said. All he was worried about was making sure that they got the down payment. Literally I was out of 7,000 and the tag, insurance, and the first payment that is about to be due after only two weeks of driving the vehicle which was unfair to me because most dealerships give you a month and some even three months. All ***** does is lie not to mention all of the customers that I have referred to him as far as getting a vehicle. There is a lot of talk and exaggeration just for someone to get a vehicle. You can call ***** phone and he will ignore you especially after he has made the sale of the vehicle. After I could not get in touch with him, I called the dealership and spoke with *** ****** and he connected me to ***** ******* right then and he proceeded to then answer and text after the fact. Still excuses were made to me about accommodations for not having the vehicle etc.. and sent the date could not be changed, ***** said that he would see what he could do, but that was a lie.Carlock Toyota of Tupelo

Ms. ****** was made aware of the issue with taking possession of the car and opted to do her paperwork and leave her down payment in spite of that. Our GSM has spoken to her and we have resolved the matter to her liking. We will be finalizing that and sending her the agreed upon resolution today.Review fromAaron G

1 starI think this dealership needs a cultural change by the owner. The sales persons are full of lies and deceit with the backing of the Sales manager. They will tell you anything to make a sale and after the transaction is complete they do not remember what they said to correct any issues or anything about the vehicle. I would say to anyone that wants to buy a Toyota to go to a reputable dealership and stay away from Carlock Toyota in Tupelo Ms.Review fromElizabeth S

1 starI bought a 2020 Toyota Camry from this dealership with 56,000 miles on it. They charged me $32000 for this vehicle which this vehicle wasn’t worth that much and it cost more than a brand new Toyota Camry with me also putting down $2500. This dealership up charges the vehicles. I have tried to get out of this vehicle multiple times but because they up charged the car price I can’t even get out of it. Not to mention they showed a car fax related this vehicle and found out later this vehicle had been wrecked.Review fromDanielle S

1 starThis is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a car company. If in fact you do want to buy a car do not buy one from this particular dealership! I have bought my car not even two years ago and have been harassed through text messages and been talked to unprofessional. I have been nickeled and dimed every which way. I was lied to, treated less and kept documentation of how they represent themselves to a customer paying on a 30,000 car. I have reached out to them and hung up on told that I can not get a copy of on my contract, they tried to have a co-signer exchange my car without any authorization from me. The list goes on. I basically pay them to be treated less then. They do not hold to there misson or vision statement an are they very worst representation or any company I have ever bought a car from. I have had better experiences from corner car lots than these people.Review fromLinda J

1 starFebruary 28,2023 I drove my 2020 Toyota Highlander to Carlock Toyota of Tupelo because the engine light was on. After a two hour wait, I asked ***** ( the person that checked me in) if they had done anything to my car? He told me the Service Manager found water in in the fuel tank and he had some fuel in a bottle and the Manger would come out to talk with me. The Service Manger never come out to speak with me. In the meantime, I called my son and told him about the fuel having water in it, he asked if it was missing, NO IT WAS NOT MISSING, running perfect. He advised me not to let them do anything to it. So I requested my car and left Dealership. After leaving the Dealership, I drove to a trusted family friend (a mechanic and auto repair shop) he drove the vehicle and said it didn’t have water in fuel. If it did would certainly be missing. I am a 72 year old woman and I want peace of mind that when I get in my vehicle and it’s in the best running condition possible. Although my mechanic told me it had no water in fuel tank, I chose to have the fuel tank drained and replaced with more fuel. He collected some of the fuel in a clean jar at my request . There was no water in the fuel that was drained. I had this work done n March 6. That visit cost me about 15 gallons of gas that was drained out of tank, cost of filling the tank again, the cost of labor. Tech: ******* ****** and Manager ***** ******** Toyota Service DEPT How many other people has been told this and didn’t have someone to call and ask questions. I want other customers to be aware of this scam. Because I know it was scam.Review fromShanyea R

When I first arrived to the lot, I was greeted by one of their sales rep. I explained to her what type of vehicle I was looking for which was a Toyota C-HR. At that point, I had decided just to look around, then I came into contact with ***** ********. At that point I decided to leave because I was under the impression that the vehicle I wanted was not there. Later that day, I had a change of heart, and I contacted Mr. *****. I test drove a couple vehicles until I spotted the one that I originally came to the lot for. I test drove it and didn't notice any issues. I went backed to the lot and signed my paper work for the vehicle. When it was time to leave, the battery actually died at the car lot. Mr. ***** was able to get it the vehicle back started, and I left. The next week after I purchased the vehicle, I noticed that it was making a whining sound. I took a video and sent it to Mr. ***** because I was concerned . I informed him that I would have my mother bring the vehicle that Thursday because that Friday I was going out of town. My mother took the vehicle where she was told that it could be the transmission that was causing the whining sound. She was told that day for us not to worry that everything was going to get taken care of. Fast forward to today, nothing still has not been done. ***** ***** who told my mother that he would be in contact has not been in contact. When we came back from our trip we even stopped there, and he stated that he would be in contact that evening and never called. I have attempted to called twice one day he was not there and the next he stated he would call back and did not. The other time my uncle contacted him and he stated that he would call back and has not. My thing is I understand things are a process., but what I don't understand is the lack of communication. If the vehicle is under warranty, then it should not take all this. Very unprofessional.Carlock Toyota of Tupelo

The Sales Manager, ***** ******, has spoken to the customer and we will be replacing the transmission. We are working out the schedule and availability of the parts to complete the work as timely as possible.
