I rented an apartment in Tupelo, MS (The Grandstand at Fairpark). I had a one-year lease starting January 2022. I paid a security deposit of $1610. On multiple occasions, the property manager said we could cancel the lease, and I told her that I was moving out in June. I paid my rent I full through June. I notified her when I vacated the building on June 21, 2022. I left the apartment in better condition than I had found it when I moved in - I arrived on January 25 and despite having paid for that month in full, I could not stay in the apartment because it was not finished, and it had not been cleaned. I have been trying for weeks to get in touch with the property manager to get my security deposit back, and she has not responded to any calls, or emails. I've called all other numbers associated with the office, and I've made no progress. I need to get my security deposit back, and I see no other way to pursue this. Please let me know what supportive documents would be appropriate. I have bank statements, emails, some pictures of the damages I found when I moved into the apartment.
