We had a reservation on 1/6. I called to cancel due to weather. I was told that we would lose our deposit if we cancelled. However, we could change our reservation. I told **** that my husband would call back. He decided to cancel. I will admit I was not happy to learn I would lose my deposit. I asked if we had to cancel the new reservation if something came up and was abruptly told NO and he took all of our money, not just the deposit. I would like an opportunity to change my reservation as we had intented after hearing about the loss of the deposit. This is a place where we intended to stay at least monthly. He stole our money. And for xero reason other than he could. KOA offers no recouse or customer service beyond the campgroung manager so we are held at their will. I would like to make my reservation and use the $78 to put towards my reservation as stated in the original conversation.

I made a reservation to use a KOA in ********, ** on May3- May 5th 2023. I paid $168.84. I cancelled my reservation at *********, and the amount which I paid was transferred to another KOA in ********, ******** Springs. On August 9th, I arrived to the KOA at ********, ** and the cabin which was reserved for me was given to s someone else because my family did not travel with me anymore. I stayed there from August 9th - August 11th. I was told by one of the representataives that the bill would be adjusted because I was given a smaller cabin. I paid a total of $972.08 which included my previous payment of $168.84.I tried to reach out KOA several times to have this issued resolved but no one ever answered my calls. I would like an adjustment on my bill as promised. I would like $200-$300 to be refunded back to my credit card.

The office at the koa we were staying at got a report from a neighbor at the park. This well intended but grossly misinformed child accused me of animal abuse of my own pet dog. They called the local sheriffs office & animal control. Once a proper assessment of the situation was conducted, the animal control officer found a healthy happy dog that was not emaciated or dehydrated. He found no signs of animal abuse. The park kicked me out by police ******. This was on July 4th 2023. It happened on the 3rd day of a 5 night stay. All money was paid in advance and not refunded.

I've been coming to the KOA RV park at the ********** in ******** ****** for years. Every year the price of the dump is raised. It was $5 a few years ago. It's now $15 & I feel this is price Gouging & not fair. There is no reason to raise the price so much. This KOA does little to accommodate to it's patrons.

On 12/28/2022 I cancelled reservation #******** at the ***********/Okatoma KOA 18 days prior to our arrival date. I received an email from the campground confirming the cancellation AND my deposit would be refunded (available if needed). That email confirmed their cancellation policy of 48 hrs prior to arrival date. On 1/5/2023 I followed up to that email inquiring on the status of my ************** (1/6/2023) I received an email saying that my cancellation is within 30 days of the arrival date and they are not refunding me my deposit. When I made our reservation of 59 nights no one disclosed there was a different cancellation policy for monthly or long term reservations and I cannot find anything within their posted cancellation policy of different cancellation requirements. I am seeking that we receive our refund minus the $10.00 cancellation fee. I dont understand the difference in canceling a reservation for 59 days (18 days prior to arrival date) or 48 hours prior to an arrival date.

KOA has a rewards program that costs $33 per year to join. It gives you then discounts on reservations with your membership. They claim that if you are a VIP member or have gained enough points from reservations, that they will waive the following years renewal fee. I stayed at the ************************************************ and they insisted on charging me the renewal fee when I made my reservation, which was not for many months. They told me they would reimburse me the $33 renewal fee in May when I arrived at their park. Once I got there in May, they refused to reimburse me. I've called KOA 3 times, each time they say they will send me an email and will take care of it, and each time I have heard nothing from them. I want resolution and my $33 back. Otherwise, their rewards program is just a scam.
