June 1, 2016, BBB was notified that the company H2Opay, Inc., www.h2opay.com, was offering merchant payment
processing services with the following addresses; 401 N 27th St, Billings, MT
59101, 314 N Last Chance Gulch, Helena, MT 59601 and 13 Cork Street, Belize
City, Belize. The report on BBB’s Scam Tracker indicated a business had
hired this company to process their payments. H2O Pay allegedly processed
14 payments for a total of $3,329.88, but failed to give the money back to the
business. All attempts to contact the company have proven unsuccessful.
BBB confirmed the address in Billings belongs to a bakery, the
address in Helena is a virtual office and the address in Belize is a hotel. BBB
attempted to contact the company by email but it was returned as undelivered.
The phone number listed on their domain name registration is not their
own. The phone number on their website, 800-314-9509, is no longer in service.
H2OPay is not registered with Montana’s Secretary of State, which
is required for payment processors. H2OPay’s website stated that they are
BBB accredited with an A+ rating, which is not true. As of June 17, 2016,
the website has been taken down.
