    On March 4th 2024 I messaged ***** at Level Up Tattoo Studio inquiring about getting some tattoos. My appointment was scheduled for May 11th & 12th. 3/30/24 - I paid ***** $600 for the payment of the tattoos. I was told I would receive the tattoo art to approve (never received).Between 4/14/24 & 5/1/24 I asked several times to get the art work and it was never received. 5/3/24 I cancelled my appointment due to medical reasons and it was agreed later to schedule it for 7/20/24 & 7/21/24 7/3/24 through 7/19/24 I asked ***** several times for the art and it was never received. She confirmed the appointment multiple times. 7/20/24 ***** cancelled the appointment and promised full refund. 8/1/24 - $100 refund received was promised the rest the next day. 8/5/24- 8/14/24 promised several times refund would be done the next day. I asked if it would just be easier to reschedule. It was agreed that the appointment would be rescheduled for 9/14/24 & 9/15/24. 9/3/24-9/13/24- ***** confirmed the appointment several times 9/14/24 - ***** cancelled appointment and promised full refund the next day. As of today 9/19/24, I have not received a refund.

    In February of 2022 I paid $550 at a charity auction for a tattoo session that they donated. Between then and now I have been canceled and rescheduled more than 30 times. I am active duty military and was moved to ******** in September of 2024. Right before we moved ***** had told us that she would meet up and pay us the money back that we had paid to the auction. Messages were never responded to when it came time for repayment. I have now moved across the country where I cannot pursue this issue. I ultimately would like my money back but also want others to know what a horrible business this is.

    My husband is from ***********, MT and we were going to visit family, a group of us wanted to get memorial tattoos for my husbands brother who passed away unexpectedly in 2022. We thought it would be special to get one done in their home town. My husband contacted Level Up Tattoo Studio and spoke to *****, she confirmed they could book our group if we paid a $400.00 deposit, which would go toward the work and was refundable. He sent $400.00 via cashapp as requested on 7/22/24 and we were booked for 8/02/24 and 8/03/24. ***** requested that we come in on 8/01/24 at 5pm to meet with the artist and bring our designs. This also happened to be my mother-in-laws birthday, but we told her we could manage a quick meeting at 5pm. Then on 7/31/24 my husband received a text from *****, she said they would give us a break in pricing if we prepaid and requested he send $300.00 more. We were a bit skeptical and figured we would have our meeting first before sending anymore money. On 8/1/24 about 30 minutes prior to our meet time, ***** text and said the artist was in the middle of a tattoo and we would have to reschedule to 7:30pm. We told her that wouldn't work and requested an earlier time. She said the artist was 'knee deep' in a tattoo and she can't ask a client that has been sitting all day to take a break. She didn't seem willing to work with us on an alternative time so at that point we asked for our deposit to be returned. ***** agreed to the refund and said we would have it back by 'end of day tomorrow.' The following day 8/02/24 we asked for an exact time and was told 10pm. After expressing concern, she actually sent half the deposit $200.00 back immediatly and said the rest would be sent after 10pm. Since that day we have sent several messages and been given diffrent dates and times, but never received the remaining $200.00. At this point ***** has not been responding to our messages and we feel we have been scammed out of $200.00

    The office manager for LevelUp Tattoo in *********** reached out to me about booking a spot with the artist during their guest slot at a local Kalispell studio. I've gotten tattoos from their shop before so I trusted her professionalism and quality of the work and experience. I booked a spot for myself and a friend, in which we paid her a deposit on April 22nd. The appointment was booked for May 26th. When it came closer to the appointment, she reached out and said if I prepaid for my tattoo, I'd get a discount of $100. So on April 29th, I paid her an additional $200 for my planned tattoo. Leading up to the appointment, I was only given a vague design to review or confirmation of a time to arrive. On the day of the appointment, she asks to reschedule to the 9th of May. I agreed and tried to get a design sketch from the artist. I confirmed several days in advance, as well as the day before that we were still scheduled for the 9th. On the morning of, she cancels the appointment and said she would issue a refund. The refund never arrived as she said she would use cashapp to refund me, and never did. And then told me that there was a check in the mail, that never arrived, and now, by the 26th of July, I have still not received a refund. The shop made several false promises on appointments and on when to expect a refund, neither of which were fulfilled. I've been patient, but $400 total and 2 months later without seeing a cent returned is too much. This is the worst runaround I've ever gotten from a tattoo shop and is absolutely ridiculously bad customer service on their end. The last promise was to refund the amount by last night and it never happened. If this is how they are going to treat their customers, then they should not be operating a business that centers around the client trusting the shop and rhe artist.

    On September 11, 2023, I contacted Level Up Tattoo Studio through ******** Messenger to schedule a sibling tattoo for me and my 3 sisters. We were asked to pay $100 deposits for each tattoo in advance. I sent $400 for the 4 tattoos through Venmo on September 12, 2023. Our appointment was scheduled for September 23, 2023, when my sister from out of state would be in ***********. They changed the appointment from 11:00 to 1:00 at the last minute. On the date of our appointment, September 23, 2023, we received a ******** Messenger message at 5:19AM indicating that they needed to cancel our appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. They were unable to reschedule for a time when my sister would be available, so we asked for a refund of our deposit. I was told that I would have the refund by Monday, September 25, 2023. The money was never sent. From October 2023 to July 2024, I have exchanged multiple ******** Messenger messages with *****, the office manager of Level Up Tattoo Studio. (I can provide screenshots of our communication if necessary.) I have been promised that the $400 would be 1) sent in a cashiers check to my address, 2) delivered to my place of employment and 3) sent to me through ******* In each case something comes up and I dont receive the promised refund. I have been guaranteed that I will receive the refund by specific dates, but the deadlines pass with no sign of the payment. I have made 3 trips to the Level Up Studio place of business because ***** promises that they have $400 waiting for me. In every instance, the door has been locked and no one answers the phone number on the door. During the past several months, it has become painfully obvious that Level Up Tattoo Studio is not planning to refund our deposit but rather just string me along with excuse after excuse until I finally give up. It is clear from reading recent reviews of the Level Up Tattoo Studio business that this is happening to multiple individuals.

    On May10, 2024, I had contact with artist ****** assistant via FB messenger expressing interest in scheduling a tattoo. On May 11,2024, I paid a $200 deposit via Stripe and was scheduled for an appt for **** 1,2024. On **** 1, 2024, I was contact saying the artist needed to move the appointment to **** 2, 2024. On **** 2, 2024, I was contact saying the artist needed to reschedule to **** 5,2024. On **** 5,2024, I was contacted saying the artist needed to reschedule for **** 8, 2024. On **** 8, 2024 I was contacted saying the artist needed to reschedule for **** 9, 2024. On **** 9, 2024, I was contacted saying the artist needed to reschedule to **** 19, 2024. On **** 19, 2024, I was contacted saying the artist needed to move it to the next week. After 6 rescheduled appointments, I asked for my deposit back on **** 19, 2024. I was told my deposit would be refunded on **** 20,2024. On **** 22,2024, I again asked for the refund of my deposit and was told it takes 3-5 business days to refund. On **** 28, 2024, I asked them to check of the status of the refund as I had not received it. I was told I have zero control of the speed of your refund, you should see it by Wednesday of next week. I have seen no refund. I have repeatedly asked for a refund of my deposit. This artist behaves as if he can just take money from people and not fulfill his obligation as a licensed business to refund moneys for services failed to be rendered. If you read all the other complaints, the pattern is evident in the exact same behaviors of chronic disregard for ethical business practices. No other lane of business would function in this manner and be able to continue with a license. Im asking for my $200 deposit back. Its not that complicated.

    I scheduled to have a tattoo with the artist. After a year of them canceling appointments on me last minute I asked for a refund they said they would but paid back a portion and not all of it. I want the remainder of the money owed back. I heard that they do this is lots of people just scamming people for money and never doing the tattoos.

    We scheduled a tattoo with this company for the end of April, placed an $100 deposit down and then was offered a discount if we paid in full. I paid the remainder in full before the deadline. The April appointment came around and that same day was rescheduled to the next Saturday (May 4th) due to the artist being sick. I then waited another week just to be contacted the day of the appointment that they had gotten into a car accident. I was promised a refund by the end of the week. I waited for the refund. Friday came and went and no refund. Services were not provided and my payment was being held. I asked about the refund and have now been passed off for an ADDITIONAL 11 days, being promised a refund over and over. Each time Im met with some excuse. Im finished arguing with the owner. My refund is owed and I stated Id be filing complaints if it was not returned. As of today, the refund has still not been given.

    On or around December, 2023, I requested a touch-up appointment for tattoos I received from the studio. Specifically, I reached out to the store manager, *********************, who I have known for 15 years. The appointment was scheduled for April 19, 2024. I provided a $1,000 deposit over the course of the next few months, which was the quoted price for the tattoos. The day before my apppointment, I received a message form ***** saying the artist's father had a severe stroke and would not be available for the apppointment. I wished them well, but had my suspicions because this was the second time something like this had happened. The only difference between the first incident was that I had made no deposit.Upon investigating customers' reviews, I was shocked to see that this behavior was a pattern. Particulaly, to customers who were traveling from out of town to the studio. They would state that they would receive a message at the last minute saying the appointment could not be honored, and that they would receive their refunds. Looking both at reviews, and a statement from a customer I reached out to through ********* I determined that they had not received their refunds. The actions engaged by the studio are not isolated. Rather, they are intentional. I believe their is an effort to commit fraud upon customers and if left alone, several customers in the future will succumb to this deceit.I can provide text messages, screenshots, and statements if desired.

    They have consistently no showed me for my appointments and have not received my full refund. 7 times scheduleing in total that i have wasted time and gas to come in for a gift my husband got me. All we want is our money back to go somewhere else. We got $100 back on cash app and we're supposed to get additional $600 back on the card that we have not seen.

    Typically gift certificates are not refundable. I have tried to refund this multiple times through our card company and will again send the refund. ****** says it takes 7-10 business days to complete the refund.
