I contracted with All Season Maintenance to put in an extension of my lawn into aabout 350 square foot bare patch that had been made from two very large fir trees being blown down in a wind storm 2 1/2 years ago. I had the fallen trees, stumps, roots and the layer of needles removed following the storm. I let the ground sit untouched for two years to make sure grass would grow there. I am an elderly, widowed 78 years old and unable to do heavy work. I contacted *************************** operator of All Season Maintenance to look at the area and give me a bid to extend my lawn into the bare patch. He gave me a bid that I thought was fair and I expected that he would have the ground prepared and seeded. I had dumped some grass clipping on part of the spot because it needed some soil amendments. The day that the job was done I waited for them to come but they entered my back gate and didn't let me know they were there working on the bare spot. After I was told that the job was done I went out to my back yard to inspect it. I was shocked that the only thing that had been done was the spreading of grass seed and some fertilizer. They did not rake or prepare the soil. They did not rake in the soil amendments that I provided. They did not level out low spots or high spots. They didn't even level out the grass clippings. They also did not remove some tall weeds in the patch. The bid was for $357.30 which to me seemed fair to prepare, level and seed the area. My mistake was not asking for *************************** to explain to me what he planned to do. I trusted and assumed he knew what needed to be done. Now I am stuck with a very poor job. I could have seeded the area myself but needed someone to do the hard work of preparing and leveling uneven spots for seeding. I certainly would not recommend All Season Maintenance to anyone. I feel like they took unfair advantage of me an elderly widow.

The estimate that was talked about and approved was to apply grass seed and fertilizer to the bare spot witch was done.

Pulling weeds and removing grass trimmings was never talked about and grass trimmings were not there when we looked at the job. Are system sends out and email the day before and a text the day of with the notice of the job. We only do the work that was talked about and approved any additional work has to have sign off for us to do
