1 starCompletely disappointing and frustrating experience the second time around using this company. The only value add the 'expert' provided, was the significant $$$ upcharge for every activity / transfer / hotel stay. This was in direct contrast to the experience we had for our trip to ***** in dec '22. It was my mistake to believe that there would be some basic level of care for returning customers. There was a complete abdication of any responsibility of the part of Adventure life to the local resource with regard to making bookings/reservations. Little did we know that there was nearly a 50% markup. on everything...why ? just because....expensive ****** learned. it took one email and one phone call to the hotel concierge to get the detailed pricing breakdown The tone was set at the *************** where we had to go looking for our driver who was outside the airport scrolling on his phone. Three nights in a very bad hotel, christmas morning transfer from Arenal to ********* with a stop at and adventure park. there was supposed to be a boxed breakfast for the six of us.....of course it wasn't provided. The cherry on the top was the transport from Tamarindo back to ***************...it was the most outdated dilapidated ******* van, with no headrests or seatbelts....so much for ********* be clear, there are other options for actually complicated trips, and for **********, there is no logic to being ripped off like this. we wouldn't have realized the egregious upcharge on the activities till we asked questions. We had to shame them into acknowledging that we were booked into a really bad property. Basic duty of care to paying customers was completely ignored. There has still been no acknowledgement about the missing breakfast and the absolutely unacceptable transportation on the way from tamarindo to **************************** refund money and apologize is a basic requirement in a situation like this... not a favor.Review fromMaggie C

1 starWe just came back from 7day/6 night trip in **********. Extremely disappointed as we realized all Adventure Life did was booking hotel and transportation with huge mark up. There was no service provided during the trip at all. The hotels we stayed at were a mix, so was transportation. On our 1st day of the trip, I discovered Adventure Life charged us for an excursion that was free. When I asked for itemized cost for each of the excursion, the answer was that AL doesnt provide that. I then pulled all the pricing info from both hotels on what we would have paid if we booked through hotel, AL finally acknowledged they charged mark up (48%) on a pricing provided by their contractor which was marked up already. We did get refund and reimbursement of the cost of 3 nights stay of 1st hotel, but the way AL went about it was very disappointing.Review fromtim h

Adventure Life went above and beyond in finding us a new charter boat in the ********* when the original chartered boat went aground and it looked like our trip might be ruined.Thanks to AL for handling this so well.*** & ***********************

***********************:- After checking various overseas agencies for a custom charter cruise to *********, we chose Adventure Life and I am so pleased we did! When the boat we were booked on got wrecked two months before our trip, AL pulled out all the stops to get us a last minute replacement, and also gave generous refunds to all 16 of us. How many other agencies would have said "Not my fault" and walked away? It was not their fault, but, unlike "Visiting *********" in ******* (the boat owners), they accepted responsibility and salvaged a trip that turned out to be a trip of a lifetime. *********************.Adventure Life

Adventure-Life travel was FANTASTIC! They took our vague concept for our vacation to ****** and turned it into an amazing trip. They were easy to deal with and were receptive to our requests. Every aspect of our trip was meticulously planned and executed. We plan to use them again for our next adventure.Adventure Life

Amazing travel company that we have used many times. Wonderful assistance with the planning and during the trip. They always listen to what you want to do and have great suggestions. The customer service is fantastic. They communicate well and get back to you in a timely manner We get detailed information for each day of the trip. What we are doing, where we are staying and how long are drives between places. They are the best travel agency I have worked with. All our vacations with Adventure Life have been wonderful. This is a great company to help you plan the trip of a lifetime. I was cautious at first, did my due diligence to make certain this was a real company. I did look at the BBB to look up Adventure Life. Its the real deal! We went on a cruise from **********, *******, and on to ******. Everything was so nice, well organized, fantastic. Great customer service. I cant wait to book my next vacation!Adventure Life

5 starsAdventure Life is without a doubt the best travel agency we have ever worked with. There was no stone unturned and attention was given to every detail. The organization of our trip, personal we link to all of our info, itinerary, insurances, flight info, passport info, contact info, etc. was more than impressive. Everything about the planning by Franny and Chern was perfect, even when we had to modify a small hiccup regarding an activity one day, we we able to, in real time, speak with Chern, and make new arrangements. I'm certain she worked overtime that day to help us even. I don't think I could say enough good things about them. I've said it more than once to my wife, that they will have our business going forward for any and every trip we plan within their offerings.Communication and replies were always prompt, questions answered, our input was valued, the entire vacation was a success because of Adventure Life. The best review I can give, is to say publicly, thank you very much and to any who might read this, give them a call, you will not be disappointed.
