  ATTN, Creditors and Vendors: On December 08, 2010, the BBB was alerted by this company's ownership that Oasis Montana's credit information has been compromised and that a scammer has obtained a copy of its real credit application information, which this company uses when it seek terms with a new vendor, in order to call around to creditors and extend lines of credit and to attempt to purchase goods and items in order to open up new lines of credit in a fraudulent manner.
  
  Scammers have already attempted to open up various lines of credit with various entities. All information entered on the fraudulent application is real except for email addresses and phone numbers, which scammers are making up to further the scam. This business has begun to take measures to protect itself by reporting it to authorities, who are investigating this case.
  
  The BBB encourages vendors and creditors to be extra certain they are dealing with a true and verifiable business before extending credit or releasing merchandise.
  
  The false contact information that has been used so far by persons pretending to be Oasis Montana include: [email protected], [email protected] (sic), fax numbers of 866-297-3726, 401-0116 and either 818-407-0716 or 401-0716 and the phone number 818 581-4518.
  
  One credit application that was faxed had Oasis Montana's actual billing address reflected but utilized a separate shipping address in Clarinda, Iowa.
