I purchased 4 books from Frankies on the 'WHATNOT' App. Frankies had promised they where going to get the books signed and shipped to us after a convention in **. After the convention they stated that they had been unable to secure the signatures but, assured everyone they where going to get the books signed and shipped out in a few months. After waiting about 3 months *******'s filled for bankruptcy and stated they had a settlement with the courts to settle with everyone they owed. That they would be going in reverse alphabet order. After months of emailing and asking for status updates they stated the efforts had stalled. This company is still selling on various platforms but, they are not fulfilling the bankruptcy agreements they have with the courts. They need to be investigated for fraud at this point.Initial Complaint

I have an order 11/10/22 and haven't received yet. They had bankruptcy and I been emailing them back and forth and in July they were shipping old orders but that was last email, when i called, emailed and I get nothing. I even went on a sight whatnot they ignored me.Business Response

I have been stalled by this company many times on comics and now I’m being told after waiting for a year that I will not be getting my comic. My new order is not going to be given to me. They are now going through bankruptcy while also selling comics on whatnot app. I wonder how much money they are making while trying to claim bankruptcy. I’m going to make sure to let the court know he’s still making money off orders while not fulfilling orders already paid for. This place will make you wait 3-6 months after the release of a comic before they give you your order.Initial Complaint

I purchased a Pre Order comic with Frankies Comics in 2021 and the comic came out early 2022 and they wont refund me my money or send me my comics. All emails with them have done nothing to help me get my refund or comics. They filed for bankruptcy and are still selling comics on the WhatNot app every week but refuse to refund me.Initial Complaint

On Friday October 7th at *** **** Comic Con, Frankie's Comics was sending comics to be sent to **** *** for signature. I had paid $44.10 to have two issues signed and mailed back to me. The issues were: -Miles Morales: Spider-Man #39 **** *** variant -Venom #9 2022 NYCC The Comic Mint Exclusive ****** *** variant On November 10th I followed up on the status of the order. I received a response on November 15th that they would be signed the following month. On December 22nd I followed up again on the status and did not get a response so I followed up again on January 7th. I got a response on January 11th telling me that the comics would not be able to be signed. They also requested my address so the comics could be mailed back to me. I responded on January 11th with my address and requested a refund as well. I did not receive any response so I followed up again January 18th asking when my comics will be mailed back and if I will be refunded. As of today (1/20/2023) I have not received information on when my issues will arrive and when I can expect a refund. In terms of a resolution, I would like the following: - $44.10 refund - In addition, if the comics cannot be returned in the condition I sent them in (mint condition with no defects) I also want to be reimbursed the current going price for the comics which is $75 ($20 for Spider-Man and $55 for Venom )Initial Complaint

I ordered Hulk #1 ******** *** - CBCS 9.8 Virgin on 10/9/2021 for $109.99. I waited some time because I know it takes time to get a comic graded. Come December 12 I asked for a refund and I was told it would take 3-5 days to process the refund. After the 5 days I sent another email asking about the refund and they said they would check on it and still nothing. They have stop responding to my emails.Initial Complaint

On October 10, 2022 I placed an order via this companies website for three books. Two were available and one was a preorder that released on November 23, 2023. I was told in am email on December 15,2022 it would ship by next Tuesday. I emailed again on December 27, 2022 for an update with no response. I emailed again January 3,2023 and was told this would ship by the end of the week. They have not responded to my request for a shipment or a refund on January 6, 2023.Initial Complaint

I ordered a comic in early November on a pre-sale the comic was released the end of November and was to ship by mid December. The comic still hasn't shipped despite me contacting the store several times and being assured that it would ship right away. I want the store to ship the item that I ordered. I paid $40.00 for the comics and around $8.00 for shipping. As I said I just want the items I ordered and will only accept a refund if they can't fulfill the order. However if a refund is given I would like an explanation as to why my order could not be fulfilled.Business Response
