Harrison Fence installed a fence in our yard 07/24/21. We provided a professional survey (attached), and identified the survey pins, per contract requirement. Per the Harrison contract terms and conditions (attached), a change order is required releasing Harrison from liability for improper placement when survey pins are not available. There was no change order required for our fence because the pins were identified and readily visible, as can be seen in the attached photos. On 09/28/22 our yard was surveyed again as part of a home sale and the fence was found to be encroaching on our neighbor's yard by 1.2 ft (HOLCOMBE survey, encroachment image). We contacted Harrison to address the issue numerous times, sending the original and new surveys. They originally discussed moving the fence but then stopped communicating with us completely at which time we had to pay another contractor $2500 to move the fence as part of our home sale (ING estimate). We filed a dispute with our credit card to seek recovery of costs in order to pay for the repair. Harrison advised they were working with us to to move the fence line, which is factually wrong (DiscoverDispute). We are requesting reimbursement of the cost to move the fence ($2500).
