    I used Star Van Lines for a move from *** to **. It was the worst experience. I have used other moving companies in the past and always had a wonderful experience and zero issues with my belongings. To start with ****** the salesperson completely misleads you. He said that this company supports Veterans and that a percentage of their proceeds go to the ********************. This is so untrue. He quoted me one price; I paid half at time of contract. The company shows up in *******, *** to charge me more money than the agreed price. At that point I had to "negotiate" the price, and I had to be in *********, **. for my job, so I did not have time to find another company, etc. Let me also, inject that this company does not own their own moving trucks, they are a broker and they sub-contract out every load. They also take up to 30 days to deliver your items, and they only do "shared" loads. None of this is told to you by ******. I had 67 boxes, a motorcycle, etc. After 25 days, four deliveries (two of which were not even my belongings, the entire truck(s) were full of other people's items) I received 20 boxes, my motorcycle and one dresser. All of my other items are just gone. The items I did get were all open, and I had a lot of broken items. The company loads your things and immediately unloads them into storage facility waiting until they get 2 loads going in the same direction. The delivery persons do not speak English, and they do not know what belongs to which delivery, so you have to physically say yes or no as they unload each item. Save yourself a lot of money, time, frustration, and heart ache and just DO NOT use this company. They are the worst I have ever dealt with; I will NEVER use them again.

    I do not recommend Star Van Lines. The experience has been terrible with this company. The drivers left our residence without notifying us they were leaving and did not provide a Billl of Lading or any inventory list. They took off and left us with no list or evidence of our possessions. Once they arrived at our delivery address they again took off without notifying us even though I requested a receipt for our cash payment as soon as they arrived. Once they departed we noticed we were missing items and had not received a full delivery. We called the truck driver and he said he would look in the truck for the missing items. He called us the next day and texted us photos of 3 missing items in the back of his truck. He told us he would deliver them the next day; never happened. We were also told he would mail them; never happened. Within a day we realized we are also missing 6 boxes of household items valued at approximately $1,800. Despite repeated calls to **************** (*****) these boxes have not been delivered to us. We were turned over to a 3rd party dispute resolution company and offered $75 total settlement. Star Van Lines damaged the stairs in our condo when they dragged a piece of furniture down the stairs and incurred a $459.53 repair bill that we also have not been reimbursed for. We have a total of $2,200 in damages and lost household goods and they have offered an insulting $75 settlement.

    I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Star Lines *************** After agreeing on a specific moving date and making arrangements, including booking flights based on their schedule, they failed to follow through. Despite repeated attempts to get updates, the location of my items was never disclosed, leaving me completely in the dark about where my belongings were.There was no proactive communication from the company, and I only received notice about the delivery date the day before it happened. Every person we spoke to appeared to be a third-party contractor with no direct connection to the company itself, making it impossible to get reliable answers or assistance. To make matters worse, I was given the name of a supposed manager who turned out to be using a FAKE name, which further undermined their credibility.Adding to the frustration, the initial quote was $2,471, but the final bill skyrocketed to $4,968an increase of over 100%. This significant discrepancy was neither justified nor communicated adequately.This entire experience was stressful, misleading, and unacceptable. I would strongly advise against using Star Lines ************** for anyone looking for a reliable, transparent, and professional moving service.

    ************! Dont trust them. They gave me a price and told me $10,000 insurance will cover and credit card for payment. After they locked me in with them to move my stuff from IL to FL the insurance was $1,200. Once they loaded my stuff in the truck they asked for more money and told them to bring it down and wont ship it, then they said okay will go with the price in the bill of landing. At the delivery they showed up late not on the delivery day and blackmailed me to pay them $1,000 and it has to be in cash only in order to give me my stuff. The customer service, sales, and dispatch will not answer your phone calls and will block your number after you sign with them and they will tell you to deal with the drivers! They use a truck that has a different DOT number and different company name. Dont stuck with them.

    *WORST experience ever*!!! If I could give a negative five, I would. My coordinator A d r I a n, promised me THEE best, most stress free move. I was quoted slightly over three thousand for an out of state, same day pick up and delivery, 2 hour drive. Cost was a binding contract , with emphasis on the fact that what is quoted is all Ill pay. By the time all was said and done, price was near FIVE K. And when we arrived at the new home, there was no one to unload the truck. Dispatcher D I A G O literally told me, We fulfilled our requirement of same day pick up and delivery. The contract doesnt say anything about bringing it inside! Youll have to wait for tomorrow, maybe I can get a helper out there then. EXCUSE ME???? Unloading the truck and bringing MY things are not part of the delivery??? And for 5K??? Do NOT, under any circumstances, use this company. They also required 3 different methods of payment. CC for deposit, Zelle for the pick up fee, and Cashapp for the delivery fee!!! Ive NEVER been so RIPPED OFF in my entire life. I had to be the helper with the driver to bring my own items into my home. Im 61 years old with cancer. And was forced to wait for another time to get my things, or unload it myself. Im filing legal action and notifying local newspapers. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

    Moving from one state to another is always a hassle, but this company made it as easy as possible. They were well-organized and handled my things with great care. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. Im really happy with their service and will definitely use them again if I need to move.

    My experience with Spokane Wa. Personally, it was a horrible experience. I had less items than on original estimate, sales guy verbally assured me that it was plenty & with less items we didn't think we had to worry. Once the truck was fully loaded I was advised I would have to pay an additional $1415. We had a flight to catch the next day and were without other options. I was promised 2 tv boxes for a 75"/ 85" tv that would be almost identical to the ones they come in when purchased with styrofoam. Those 2 boxes cost me $150 instead they wrapped the tv's in my own blankets and put a single piece of cardboard on both sides and taped them together. They stopped taking my calls. To reach them I would have to use someone else's phone. Upon arrival 2 of the 3 mattress were wet, tv console table damaged beyond repair, all sides were damaged, divot out of the wood on top about 1" by 2". Legs are metal, one was bent, matching end table took on so much moisture some veneer separated. 2 feet broken off 2 different night stands, crushed multiple lamp shades. I was missing some items. The claim I filed was more than 20 items. The claims process is just as bad, after filing I was offered $75 to settle my claim. I was offered the option to appeal the claim, when I did I was told the by the 3rd party vendor that they were no longer handling claims for this company. The women at the moving company told me to wait until they got the claims vendor paid then they would start handling them again. No date given for that. Meanwhile, you are not allowed to dispose of or repair any items until settled. I was expected to hold on to 2 wet mattresses. Funny thing, I posted a poor review to a known website and they immediately reached out to ask what they could do to get me to remove the review. I told her make this all right and she said she's have to let me know later. Again, I should store all this damaged unusable furniture until we can figure this out. I don't expect to hear back from

    The pick up went fine. The guys came at a reasonable time and moved things out quickly. I had to pay more than I was quoted but I anticipated that. Now that its time for the drop off, I cant seem to get my things. I called and gave them the delivery address and delivery date and the woman on the phone told me I would get a message from the driver a day before. That day arrives and nothing. I call to check in only to be told that the address is in the system but no one informed them that I was ready for delivery. How if the address is in the system? Now I dont know when I can expect my things because they are still working out a schedule I have to get back to work so if they dont come by a certain time, no one will be in the house to greet them and Im stuck staying with family because I dont have my bed and things. Totally ridiculous, unorganized and unprofessional.

    Ive moved before and always dreaded it, but this time, thanks to StarVanLines, everything went smoothly. They took care of everything from start to finish, and I didnt have to worry about a thing. The team was polite and professional, and they handled my belongings with care. If you want a stress-free move, Id definitely recommend these guys!

    We needed to move our office from ******* to *********, and we turned to this moving company. Everything went perfectly. The movers worked quickly and carefully, taking special care of the electronic equipment. Nothing was damaged during the move, and the team was professional and courteous. We were also pleased with the guarantee they provided for the safety of our belongings. Highly recommend them!
