Our company, Homeshield was the siding installer in all of Alston Ridge.  Even before the nieghborhood was complete, there were multiple homes that had siding affected in this exact same way.  The "wrinkling" is actually a melting of the vinyl siding due to the reflection and magnification from the low-E windows that were installed in these homes.  This is not due to any manufacturer's defect on faulty installation.  Siding does not "wrinkle" if installed too tightly - it would bow.  I have seen the pics of this siding on this home and it is wrinkled/melted in an arc that is very representative of the sun's pattern in the sky.

Siding can also melt  from reflections from a windshield and also any direct heat source such as a grill that is used too close to the home...

I do not know why it has suddenly happened now.  Perhaps there is a window on a neighbor's home or this home that used to be blocked by a tree or other structure and now is not.  Perhaps there was a larger tree that blocked the actual sun somewhat that is no longer there.

We were contracted by Pulte Homes to install the siding on these homes.  We had no say in what siding was installed.  We do not manufacture or sell siding.  We only purchase the siding from local distributors based on national contracts with the builder that we are working for.

Our labor only warranty on the siding is the same as the builder - one year.  I do not know exactly what the warranty on the actual siding is from the manufacturer, but again, this does not appear to be a manufacturer issue.

The siding in this neighborhood is from Alside - ******* branch.

    Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because: Noone came out to see the wrinkling. There is wrinkling on a side where there is not a window at al.   In addition, I have asked for proof such as a contract or vendor bill from them so that I can submit my complaint to the company that manufactured the siding.  I've been waiting now for almost a week and have not received the information. I cannot proceed with my complaint without proof that they actually installed the siding. Thank you.

    Sincerely,
