Have been going back and forth with things that need to be corrected with NC Custom and ******** for over a year now and signed April 2021. I’m always given the run around or excuses. The lack there of with getting some repairs have caused other damage in the home that still has not been repaired yet. Everybody keeps putting everything on covid, but yet are still finding time to take in more business and overlooking the business they already got paid for. The home comes with a 7 year warranty but it takes one year to get anything done. I’m still waiting on holes from a perc test done back in 2020 to be filled. I’m sure the company has constructed plenty homes since then. Filling holes doesn’t require to interact with anyone in close proximity. They have independent contractors that can repair, but yet I’m still waiting for calls that I never receive. I signed and paid for certain looks that doesn’t exist in the home. Was overcharged at closing with hidden unexplained fees not discussed. Bet yet I read in a review another customer’s cost was kept lowered despite covid raising prices. I’ve been in a home for over a year now that I still can’t fully unpack and decorate because I’m still waiting on repairs. Don’t have hot water because of some anti-scald lock I was told is on the home that is supposed to be a NC law, but yet an attorney advised there is no such. I was sent instructions on how to go into the handles and remove it as a homeowner when it should’ve been asked from the start while constructing the home if I wanted them on there. I have had a plumber come and they can’t even locate the valves for the tubs to adjust the water temperature and I was told the tub on the master tub isn’t the correct tubing for a residential home but what you would use for commercial properties.

    Melissa,

We are in receipt of your email in regards to Ms. *******s home.   The holes from the perc test were filled in and that part is completely done.

The rest of the service items she is wanting done are with ******** Homes.  She has been assigned a contractor and I know he has been reaching out to her trying to schedule service.

The Anti-scald devices in the faucets is building code for modular homes.  By law we are not allowed to remove them.

I have forwarded the letter to ******** Homes in regards to their part and I will reach out to Ms. ******* again.

    Sincerely,

    Wendy J****
