- Initial visit was on 1/11/23 - Paid Deposit 816.19 - they told us they would lift and secure the unsupported girder. - they came and did not repair it correctly and after pointing out the problem, technitian agreed that they would fix it right which they did and after many calls including a no call no show we decided not to work with them and we no longer felt comfortable doing business with them due to the lack of communication and professionalism. *Please see the very detailed explanation of the terrible experience we had with them attached* Summary - after a month waiting on callbacks and to hear from them they tried to come and perform a repair that we dont authorize and basically giving us no option of losing our money or accepting to allow a repair that is not needed. - all we wanted was to part ways and move on but they keep showing their terrible work ethic, bad and dishonest business. So leave us no choice but to reach out to BBB, share our experience as a review to hopefully warn others so they can save time, frustation and money by going a different route with a different vendor. Carolina Foundations chose to excavate the northeast quadrant of my home. The site listed in the scope of work details the southwest corner of the foundation. (Painting a picture for you) The two sites are opposites of one another. This error is negligence on the part of Carolina Foundations, not mine. I am beyond frustrated with the dysfunction, and at this point, I am cornered whether they will deliver a safe final product (given that they did not follow the engineer's report nor the sketch sent by their employee, Clinton R***). Carolina Foundation's negligence would have further damaged an item that they contractually agreed to repair.Business response

We received notice of the customer complaint by Mr. ******* ******. Prior to receiving your notice of a complaint, we had been working to resolve all outstanding issues with Mr. ******. We have waived the $1,400 mobilization fee and offered to complete the job to Mr. ******’s satisfaction.
When speaking with Mr. ****** yesterday, he was pleased with the resolution to his claim. Carolina Foundation Solutions, LLC takes great price in providing a high level of customer service and customer satisfaction. We have a solid track record since 2003 of meeting or exceeding customer expectations. We have used the complaints of Mr. ****** as an example where we can improve internal and external communications.
