I bought ply-gem windows through a contractor APCO in ********, ****. After several attempts to keep the windows from leaking air APCO agreed to replace my new windows with more new windows. The second set were worse than the first. The Cornerstone **** came out said the installation by APCO was very good and he sent my situation up the ladder to get a decision on what should be done to correct the problem. The response was that there were no visible defects in the windows and that Cornerstone would not do anything to correct the situation. So I now have 22 poor quality Ply-gem windows and I want to let future buyers know to be ware.Review from Matt D

Had windows installed and they do not work correctly. Bad windows but atrium will not replace them. They have walked away with my money and no issues have been solved. Do not purchase windows from this so called company. Poor customer satisfaction. Would give a zero star but you cant.Cornerstone Building Brands Response

******** Windows has made it impossible to successfully complete a product defect claim. While initially accepting submitted relevant information and photos of the defective product, they do not follow up or even respond to emails or phone calls. They simply fail to respond. I want to give them Zero stars concerning their ******** window manufacturing and customer service. $23K and ************************* later, I have windows that were made wrong and weve been in an unproductive dialogue with them through Famous Supply (resellers) since early September. As a result OUR RENOVATION PROJECT CAME TO A HALT. We went with ******** because of the reputation and quality of their windows. Unfortunately, we have not experienced that.I will get an answer and a resolution one way or another. Just want to WARN OTHERS to steer clear of these windows.Cornerstone Building Brands Response

I had contracted them in 2016 to install French Doors with blinds in the windows in 2016; in which i do see after logging into this site that at the time they were not an ROC in *******; they installed them, and I have a 10-year warranty with them for the glass and/or any defects etc. Needless to say the lever for the blinds came off so I called them and the girl said that they did not install this door!! I said that they did and I have the paperwork and contract in my hand. She then proceeded to tell me that I would have to contact another company to repair. I said that I have a 10-year warranty and they need to honor. She then stated that since they do not install these doors and again I said in which you did that they will not be able to do anything. I am very angry as now I have to have another company come and pay them to replace what should have been still under warranty. We had Mitten siding put on our new home five years ago. Within the first year, the siding started to buckle on one side, also lifting on the front of the house, exposing the barrier. We contacted Mitten asking that they come out to see what was going on. They asked us to send them a sample of the siding. This would involve is removing and then cutting the piece of the siding - as they said they did not want to receive the full length of the piece - then mailing it to them at our own cost. We emailed them a few times regarding this issue, asking if they would send someone out to have a look. They have chosen to ignore us. **** ***************Cornerstone Building Brands Response

We have a relatively new house (Built and moved in in last 3 years. We have now had two windows shatter in cold weather on there own. Two windows in 2 years just from weather. Very disappointingly poor quality. It takes about 5-6 weeks for them to fix these windows and it comes with a Hefty price. Please carefully consider alternatives if you are having new windows installed.Cornerstone Building Brands Response

Absolute trash windows, their glass is so poorly constructed, they dont warranty the actual glass against anything including manufacturing defects that result in cracks from temperature changes. When you file a claim they will spend weeks asking for more and more pictures of labels that dont exist, only to then say oh we dont cover cracks to the glassCornerstone Building Brands Response

bout siminton windows had them installed bye ************************************. the windows have stuff growing inside the window the other one shows moisture in side have tyed to get warrantied for a year now. no luck with the installer so i went to this company directly. made a warranty claim al most 2 months ago still getting run around. dont use this companies product its all junk and they will not stand behind there warrantyCornerstone Building Brands Response

I bought a home with 'newer looking' ******** windowd throughout. One tilt latch broke and I applied for replacement online under warranty replacement 3 times. They go back and forth asking for serial numbers and more that were not on my **********************. I did send them a pic of window with the ******** logo engraved in them. I tried getting their attention by emailing, ******** messaging twice and calling (forget that, you will never reach a live person) without any luck.
