I had a HORRIBLE experience here. I brought my ****************************************************************************************************************************************** less than 1 minute because the coolant was yellow I had them email me the picture also. Come to find out after purchasing another engine for $3700 (havent did engine swap yet) my 209k mile engine wasnt bad the wrong coolant was put in (yellow) my 5.7 instead of Red. So I come back inform them and they had nothing to say. I then had them change my alternator and ac condenser & paid $850 in labor and guess what none of my panels got put back on proper (because they ran out of time). So instead of them tellin me hey itll take another day to finish they told me it was ready. I pick it up dive home get out and parts of the front on my jeep are dragging on the ground. My lower cooler is supposed to be installed to the ac condenser instead it is zip tied to the front bumper and I was told by ******* I bought the wrong condenser, it wont hurt anything. I in fact did not buy the wrong condenser I had my vin # put in to insure all parts were right & now all of a sudden I have a coolant leak. My fender liner has also been zip tied on by them, passenger side of front bumper wasnt all the way on and guess what my driver side finder trim flew off on ********** had to go back and find it cause I called Jeep for a new one and thats a $300 piece. BIG NO THANK YOU TO THIS SHOP ESPECIALLY FOR $850 worth of labor to some zip tie work and parts of my jeep flying off. I HAVE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING!! I need a refund!!Precision Tune Auto Care

Avoid this place if you have a *****. I took my Accord to the *************** location for a timing belt replacement. I heard a bunch of odd noises and felt rumbling as soon as I got out of the parking lot. My naive self thought the timing belt needed some time to adjustand I was already running late for workbut on my way home from work, the noises got more apparent and the rumbling worse. I called ************ the next day and they told me to wait a couple hundred miles or a week before returning. I sent an audio recording of the cars noises to two other mechanics, who both said it was a misaligned timing belt. I took the car back, but New Bern Ave refused to honor their 2 year/24k mile warranty because they checked the valve cover and knew it was timed correctly. Instead, they blamed the *** valve (which has been on-and-off for a couple years) and said they cleaned the valve. ************ also admitted to not test driving the car after installing the new timing belt. The *** cleaning didnt improve the performance and the car was still unsafe to drive, so I had to call a tow truck to take my car home from ************. The Colonades Way shop DID honor the New Bern Ave warranty, and to nobodys surprise, they found the timing belt was off by a tooth. Colonades corrected the timing belt, but since New Bern Ave gave me a car with a bad belt and told me I was all set, my car experienced two misfires and there will most likely be long-term engine damage and weakened performance. I know this because I have a check engine light reader and it returned codes P0301 and P1399.More than anyone else, Im mad at myself for this fiasco. The *************** location manhandled my 25-year-old car, but I wasnt there to do anything about it. Oh, and the real salt to the wound? Their *** valve cleaning did nothing. My check engine code reader also returned code P1498, which is the same *** code that has been on and off for a couple years now.Precision Tune Auto Care

(This was at the ******* location on *********/**********) We regularly get our family's 3 vehicles serviced/inspected here. After my son's most recent oil ************* rotation, we started noticing oil spots in the driveway & the oil looked low. Also realized his lug nuts were super tight & in the event of a flat, he might not be able to get them off (and he's a strong kid). We, as adults, struggled to get them loose with the tire iron. My son went back to the store and called his father to explain what was going on. The call got a little heated as the tech said there was NO WAY the lug nuts were too tight. After the call, my son apologized & the tech just said, "yeah, whatever."They took his car back to check it out, found that drain pan washer was cracked (likely from overtightening). They replaced it & refilled the car with oil. They also found that the lug nuts WERE overtightened per the specs. Those were loosened. When my son went to leave, he thanked them and was told "good luck." I asked if it was said in a nice way (& demonstrated), he said no. He felt it was more of a threat & was a little worried about what they had done to the car. (We did check it. While I can't see into the drain pan, it is full of oil and is not leaking.)While I appreciate that they rectified the issues, I was a little taken back by the way they spoke to my son, who is just a teenager. None of the issues were his fault, nor was whatever was said on the phone between his father & the tech. Guess times have changed & you now have businesses arguing with the customer instead of the customer is always right philosophy. I mean why argue because that was the only place we had the car so who else did it. Not like we went under there & tightened them more after it was done. Please beware of this Precision Tune. We will not be taking any of our vehicles back to Precision Tune. Better off taking your vehicles to the dealership or someone you can trust.Precision Tune Auto Care

This place is a joke and shouldn't be trusted! Please stay far away from this place. The manager, *********************, does nothing to solve the problem or the issue. The sticker on my car showed that I had 1000 more miles to drive before getting another oil change. I've been going to this place for years fully trusting these people to do a good job. When I told the manager mentioned above about the issue, he replied that my husband should be checking the oil level at every 1 thousand miles. *** about single women or people who don't know how to check the oil level??? You pay money assuming that the job is well done and trusting the dumb sticker on the windshield. My car had a quarter of oil left that could've caused thousands of dollars in repairs. The manager NEVER admitted their mistake that the oil wasn't changed at the last appointment saying that my car was burning way too much oil internally. Really? The car was burning 5 quarters of oil before the next oil change??? There were no leaks. I took the car to the mechanic and he told me that the oil was extremely dark which means it hasn't been changed and so was the filter. Please, please do NOT go to this place!!!!Precision Tune Auto Care

I had Precision Tune in ******** **. put on new brakes and rotors that I provided them. My car shakedown at speeds over 30 once the brakes are applied. They said the stuff I bought was cheap so I took them back to Auto Zone and got new ones. Did not fix. I even bought a pair of aluminum rotors they sold me and same thing. So there different sets of brand new rotors and pads! I took my car to another shop because aftem three times with them on my car, I did not feel that it was in my best interest to have them touch it anymore. They did not torque the lug nuts. They damaged my hubs, rotors and pads and spindles, which cost me almost 2k to get fixed. My car was unsafe to drive which put me and my family at risk! When I went back to talk to them about it the manager slammed a card on the counter and walked away from me. I have left several messages on the machine at the corporate offices customer service answering machine to no avail. I feel like they should be responsible for the repair of my vehicle since when they initially drove it they said that it was now a problem before they changed the pads and rotors. Do not get your car fixed at Precision. The franchise manager was the on who did all the work on my vehicle and you would think he would have come out to speak with me when I went there. My lawyer will heat from them since I can't get any response from them.Precision Tune Auto Care

I had my car towed to the Precision Tune at ************************************************ on 12/18/2023, I felt my clutch wasn't working properly. So ******************* called me to let me know what the deal was with my car. He told me I needed clutch work done plus the transmission needed to be replaced or rebuilt. The total without working on the transmission would be more than $1700. With transmission it would be more. And I couldn't afford any more than that. He advised if I don't get transmission done, there would be a "shake." He told me that over the ********** is also on the invoice. That was the only thing he told me. So I paid to get it out, It drove ok but then after driving it for ***** minutes, it would shake but also it would be hard to shift. So I dealt with that until about January 23, when my car messed up again.....it was shaking but it also would not go into gear. So this time I had it towed to ********** *************** where they've been working on my car since 2014. I only had it towed to Precision Tune because they were closer. So ********* at ********** ************** had to redo my clutch & did the transmission work. Total bill there was $2730.67. He's allowing me to drive my car & make payments weekly to him. Paid him more than half before I got my car back but the rest he's allowing me to pay weekly.....thank God for ********* shop. So just letting y'all know that I am highly dissatisfied with Precision Tune because I was not warned that I could re-damage my *********** was going to be hard to shift. I would love to have some of my money back but I know that's just wishful thinking. Anyway, just wanted to give my opinionPrecision Tune Auto Care

Dear ****************, we are sorry to hear that you are still having issues with your vehicle. We did warn you that you not only needed to have to have the clutch system replaced but also the entire transmission needed to be rebuilt or replaced. Unfortunately, you opted to only have the clutch work done. We cannot be held responsible because you could not afford to pay for the rest of the repairs that were needed on a 21 year old vehicle with over ******* miles on it. We are sorry but your request for a refund is denied.Review fromTee L

If I could not have chosen a star it would have been zero drove my car to the location in *********, ** to get a basic oil change and a top off and just make sure my car is working properly only to be able not to drive it out the ******** have a brand new car and low mileage car basically brand new car to be able to not drive it out. This is unacceptable and for them to tell me there is nothing they can do or going to do is very upsetting. I had to get my car towed multiple times and I have to spend so much for something I didnt do and the Manager there is just okay with damages car or messing up cars. This was a big inconvenience for me. Mind boggling how people are not inconsiderate of other people in this cruel cruel world.Precision Tune Auto Care

****************, it is not our company that you should be making bad reviews on. When you brought your vehicle in for service, the battery was dead. You called *** to come out to jump start your vehicle. Unfortunately, the *** driver crossed the jumper cables causing the damage to your vehicle, not Precision Tune Auto Care. The driver even admitted as much. Everyone including those inside our building could see the sparks flying as he connected the crossed cables to your vehicle. For any reimbursements for repairs, you will need to contact *** and let them know that their driver caused the damage.Review fromKaren J

Used my Groupon for air conditioner refill in my car at *********** location. When I picked up my car it seemed to be working fine at 1st until about a week later it stopped working. We spoke with the man that runs the place who admitted they never ran any tests to see if there was a leak or used dye they just threw in some freon and called it a day. I was told I'd have to pay another $70 for them to look for the leak. The man who runs the place insinuated that with Groupon they do as little as possible (not very professional). I was ripped off by them and will not be able to get my money back and now I'll need to go elsewhere and will be charged for a air refill again since the service through Precision tune was a scam.Precision Tune Auto Care
