1 starCompany wanted hundreds/thousands of dollars to renew a trademark and said my trademark Deplorables (r) had been abandoned when I had just renewed it with a trademark attorney. According to my attorney, the Drplorables mark the person was talking about belonged to someone else, not me. These people are neither trademark attorneys nor registered agents and cannot legally represent anyone before the Patent, ********************************** Office.Review fromGregory P

5 starsI have been using the Trademark Company since 2012. I have had good luck. My Trademark was properly filed and they notified me when my renewal came and completed that as well. Everyone I talked to has been pleasant and professional.Review fromArlene E

Warning: Avoid this company at all costs.I contacted ************** regarding their trademark services and was referred to The Trademark Company. Unfortunately, trusting ************** and seeking services from The Trademark Company turned out to be a major and regrettable mistake. Initially, I spoke with **************** from ************** and ************** S from The Trademark Company during the initial stages of requesting their services. I even provided a picture to illustrate my vision and was led to believe that it would not be an issue. However, they mentioned that the final confirmation would be made after consulting with an attorney, with payment required upfront. I paid the $2350 and then spoke with the trademark lawyer, who informed me that my intent was not feasible. The attorney expressed regret that it did not work out, and our communication ended there. No trademark application was submitted for review, no service was provided.I reached out to The Trademark Company and ************** to request the return of my $2350. However, The Trademark Company (specifically Bretts@thetrademarkcompany) has not returned my phone calls or emails. **************** from ************** stated that he was not responsible for refunds and excused himself from the matter. ********************************* from ************** informed me that she was told by The Trademark Company that services were provided and that no refund would be issued. I understand some fee is needed to talk to an attorney, but $2350 to be told that it was not doable and no application was sent to me or the federal. Ridiculous. How can I move forward with something that does not align with my intent, especially when I cannot ascertain this until payment is made to consult with the attorney, at which point it is too late and funds are forfeited? Unfortunately, an attorney is needed to help me fix this unethical manner. Again, stay away from ************** who has tried to excuse themselves, although recommended. The Trademark Company

******, We apologize that your experience was less than satisfactory, however we have explained several times that the issues you were facing were not caused by our company and the complaint you had was with a partner of ours that is a completely different entity. - The Trademark CompanyReview fromBrooke C.

1 starZERO STARS. This company seemed to do the job for a while, but I've had at least three account reps over the last 6 months. They let my TM expire, so I have to file additional fees to revive it. Their excuse was they called me at the number they had on file (a number I haven't used in 7 years) rather than email me or call the number in my email signature which I've used to talk with for several years. My account rep could not solve my issue, her supervisor is nowhere to be found, no one answers the phone. Like the commenter below, I went straight to USPTO. Very helpful. No middle man required. This company as well as all middle men in this area are NOT NEEDED. What a rip off! ****** learned.Review fromTerrance W

1 starIf I could give a negative review for customer service, I would.Back in May 2023 our new business filed 2 trademarks with this organization. We were wined and dined verbally over the phone, and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful that is at the beginning until they got our money.Come to find out almost 9 months later our account manager is no longer with their organization. We were never informed or kept up-to-date while the company did follow through and file for our two trademarks. The communication after that was extremely poor.Repeated attempts over a 10 day period to contact this organization and after much frustration and literally calling them almost daily. Finally got a response from *** who identified himself as the sales manager.*** was very terse and very short bordering on being rude. I remained polite and tried to explain our frustrations with the organizations communication after the payment of services and about a situation we had run into and felt like they didnt do their end of the bargain as we had paid an additional $700 between two trademarks for their Concierge service. The services we paid an additional $700 for we were told at the time would be prompt communication they would handle any office actions from the trademark office and we would be informed throughout the process, etc.To make a long story short, I handled the problems with the trademark office myself with a very friendly and helpful employee and when I relayed this to ***, he told me let me stop you right there. We did our part and we wouldve done this for you.Stay away from this company, look elsewhere get your own attorney or better yet. Just call the trademark office theyll be happy to help you and walk you through. I wish I wouldve known this earlier. Couldve saved our company $700.I do not recommend this organization.Review fromAngie J

1 starAfter spending more than $1,200 and two years with thetrademarkcompany.com , they ultimately failed at securing a very simple, unique word trademark. Their representatives dropped the ball responding to USPTO requests and office actions every. single. time. Every speed-bump that ended up being their fault required me to pay an additional fee, over and over again. The organization never returns phonecalls and never replies to desperate emails asking for help - The only way to contact them is to call by phone and get lucky getting a real human on the line… Then they’ll actually say they’ll fulfill their contractual duties… but every single time, they dropped the ball again and it required more emails more messages and more calls in to get them to follow through on each action. In the end, after receiving FOUR consecutive office actions on the trademark… me supplying thetrademarkcompany.com with exactly what they requested … i finally cut my losses and had to abandon the trademark.Review fromJerey O

1 starThe Trademark Company DBA "TTC Business Solutions" is a scam. They leave out pertinent information that will get your application rejected. So that they can come back for another $200 upcharge. They do not return your calls. Someone needs to shut this company down or file a class action against this organization. They have taken several hundred dollars for something they should have known better. Submitting an application without crossing the T's and dotting the i's is their modus operandi. They will quickly tell you, that they are not attorneys, but for the amount of years, they have been in doing this, they should be an expert in submitting a basic Trademark application. Someone please help! How does a company that calls itself 'The Trademark Company', submits an application without the 'Mark' that the application was for? The USPTO examiner, told me the application was submitted without the mark, hence the rejection. Gross negligence!
