    I have three large storage units with MyPlace Self Storage in ***********, **. This group took over the facility at the start of the year from 10 Federal Storage. (I have been renting from 10 Federal for over 5 years.) I moved into a 10' x 20' unit in April 2024 with the provision that the **** system would be fixed as it was supposed to be a climate controlled unit. It has now been three months and I need to pay for a fourth by tomorrow (or incur a penalty) without any change. So I am paying for a climate controlled unit that is no where near climate controlled. I run a vintage ********************** business and store my pieces in the units. I can no longer keep my furniture in the unit (F30) as it has gotten to 99 degrees (and likely higher however the register only has a two digits reading.) I have called numerous times, emailed and implored them to do something to no avail. I also have asked for a change in units as there is a smaller section that is climate controlled. Again, I have heard nothing. When I call I was initially informed they would send out an individual to fix the system. I am now told that they have a part on order, which has been the thread for the past month and half. I have received two call backs to my 10+ calls and messages to this facility.It is actually dangerous walking into the area as the heat is so oppressive I can't stay in long in order to move items around. I would like a reimbursement for the four months I was paying for a climate controlled unit and not receiving one. I would also like to be moved into the climate controlled area for the same price as I am currently paying (same space requirements).
