    I was interested in purchasing a car from R.K. Motors. The sales manager requested that I place a $1000 refundable deposit to hold the car. I was told the deposit was good for 7 days and allowed time for consignor negotiations, financing approval, money movement between accounts, personal vehicle review, or third-party inspection. I was told if the car was not purchased within 7 days, the money would be refunded, the car would no longer be on hold, and it could be sold to another party. I received approval for the financing within the 7 days allowed, but consignor negotiations, in which we were not involved, took much longer than seven days. We were not contacted by R.K. Motors via email or phone regarding the status of our bid until after the 7 days expired. With no information, we continued our search and found a different vehicle. When we were informed by R.K. Motors by phone that our bid was accepted, we had already found another vehicle to purchase, and I had to inform them that we would not proceed with the purchase; R.K. Motors still sent the sales document via DocuSign, which I declined to sign. When I called them, the sales manager told me that he had "lost" another interested buyer because he told them that the car was sold. He told the prospective buyer this before the final documentation was signed. I requested R.K. Motors to refund my deposit. They did not. I contacted my credit card company, informing them of the issue and asking them to investigate. Today (24 JUN), I received an email from R.K. Motors detailing why they could not refund my money. There was no mention from R.K. Motors, and I signed no documentation stating that I would forfeit the $1000 deposit if I didn't purchase the vehicle, yet R.K. Motors refuses to refund my $1000 deposit.

    1 Star! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE!! I spent almost 90k for a car that was misrepresented, didn't start when it arrived by enclosed transport, car popped out of gear while driving it! They disappeared offering no help or make it right when emailing them.They said " I got a good deal" Such a shame we cant trust..
