      I will never again purchase Jeld-Wen windows. We have serious leaking issues on multiple windows that are around 5 years old. The craftsmanship is poor and the customer service is non- existent. I assume their warranty department is overloaded as we cannot even get a response.

      A warranty request was received from this consumer last year. An email was sent to the consumer requesting additional information to establish the warranty claim, but no response was received, and the claim was closed. JELD-WEN takes your product/service concerns very seriously. We recommend the consumer call our Customer Experience Team at ************ (M-F, 7:30am 4:00pm CST) to establish a new warranty claim.       Jeld-wen manufacturer is very incompetent I ordered 5 prehung-doors in June of 2024 . At ********** and I finally got them installed in January of 2025. They made many mistakes and they still are not good quality. the doors had marks on them, the handle holes were not cut to fit the k**** there are caps around the hinges and thy were not made to fit the opening. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will not ordered anything from them. I would not give them a star for their incompetence but I had to . It took over 3 to 4 weeks each time I had to have ********** send the doors back just to find another mistake **** R

      Low quality, does not stand by product. We ordered three large picture windows ($500+ each plus installation) through Lowes for a home addition, installed correctly by a professional builder. The first cracked within a year. Jeld-Wen sent a *** who diagnosed it as a manufacturing error and sent a replacement window, but did not cover the cost of installation. The replacement was actually different, and we learned was the correct type for our climate. The second cracked in the exact same place a few months later. Jeld-Wen refused to help, stating it was outside the warranty. When emphasizing it was a documented manufacturing error, the call center *** just ***eated the scripted response. After several calls to the Lowes in ********** where purchased, no one from Lowes or their Jeld-Wen *** ever called back as promised. We then brought in an independent window contractor who could see that the vinyl window frame was too tight on the glass along with being the wrong type for our climate. He confirmed that the installation was correct and said there are consumer protection laws that Jeld-Wen was ignoring. We will never buy from Jeld-Wen or through Lowes again. Buyer beware.

      Awful quality and extremely disappointed. We built a new house 2022. WIndows were installed Summer of 2022. Moved in Dec 2022. After we moved in we noticed most of our windows were over siliconed. We had JELD-WEN warranty team out to fix the windows, which took three trips and a lot of phone calls. Last winter our slider door had a broken seal there were even hand prints on the glass. They took care of the slider door. We have even more issues going into December 2024, has a seal failure in the top of one of the window. JELD-WEN will pay for the parts but now that it's two years out of warranty which one of the years we were not even living in our home because it was being built. So i'm paying a big fat mortgage and we now have to pay for labor for someone to fix a brand new window. May I add we never open or close the window. Sadly, they were not able to escalate or help me with the cost for labor. I'm also an interior designer, you better believe I will never spec this brand again.

      We ordered a patio door in July 2024. It was a special order and took 6 weeks for the door to be delivered. Upon inspection of the door, it was damaged. It was returned to *****. The door was then reordered...it took another 6 weeks. The 2nd door was delivered damaged again. The threshold was completely detached from the door frame, and the door had a big gash in one of the panels. The door was sent back to *****. Again Jeld Wen was informed. A third door was ordered - with a delivery expected by the end of ************************* from JeldWen that it would provide "additional packing" to protect it during shipping. The 3rd door was received DAMAGED again. Still waiting to hear back from either Lowes or JeldWen for a resolution...I will not be ordering another door from JeldWen. To recap, 6 months waiting, 3 doors damaged.

      I bought four wood windows very bad experience with communication it started with type of sill home required went back and forth the jeld-wen rep. Took dimensions but when it came to the type of sill I needed he would not speak to it and referred me to the lumber yard that sells their windows. So that's what I did. It went back and forth trying to deal with the shill issue. So I brought pictures to the rep.. at the lumber yard. He only conspired with jeldwen and I never got an answer since I took two windows apart waiting for Windows because I emailed them several times I assumed they knew exactly what I wanted they called me to come get them I had no choice because two windows were detached the other two still sitting in my garage told the rep I cannot justify putting these defective windows in this home. Now it becomes a court battle

      I would give a zero if I could for their customer service. We bought a French door from *****. The French door has the blinds in between the glass with a lever to make the blinds open/close or go up/down. A lever on one side of the door is broke and we called Jeld-Wen several times starting in June or July to get it replaced. Every time we called we got a different answer and finally was told they wont sell it to a customer, they only sell to the store where it was ********* we called and drove to Lowes multiple times to get this handled. We finally knew the name of the part and everything was handled, so we thought! They would deliver the part to Lowes. What could go wrong, right? Well, the part has been damaged or lost two times in transit to *****. The man at Lowes has done a wonderful job calling and emailing Jeld-Wen to follow up on this and then takes time to call us to give us updates. He feels terrible and is actually embarrassed we are having so many issues with getting a small part for a door that Jeld-Wen makes. So, hopefully this third time we will get the part for our door. It is sad this has been going on all summer and its still not fixed. Definitely go somewhere else where they are happy to help you!

      Terrible company I ordered an exterior door through **********. After 2 delays, the door was delivered damaged in September, and had to be reordered by **********. It is now November and we are being told the door will not arrive until the 11th. 5 months for a door, how very sad why ********** doesnt drop these guys is beyond any of their customers

      Purchased an exterior door with a 3/4 glass oval in the center. The window constantly makes loud popping noises throughout the day (and night) as the temperature warms or cools. Contacted Jel-Wen and was told these noises are normal and are not covered under the warranty since they do not affect the operation of the door. So, all day long I have to sit here in my house with the door only several feet from my living room constantly making these loud popping noises every 10 minutes as the outside temperature rises and then cools. For the money I spent I would have expected a better response from this company other then I have to basically just put up with it. Do not buy anything from this company.

      I would give a Zero star if allowed. Jeld-Wen is a company that is second- rate with inferior products and workmanship.We ordered a three (Three) Panel door in May 2024 through **********. The unit was installed at the end of June, the installers found out that the door opening was not squared correctly and another door had to be ordered. The new door dimensions were incorrect and was not installed in October ******** I am told another door needs to be ordered. There is no guarantee the door will work.We were told install our venetian blinds, or else they will not replace the door. ********** gave me a paper venetian blind that my wife and I have to go down on our knees to fold up every day. We are in our 70s, I am a Vietnam veteran with a slight disability, and it is difficult to do this daily for over 3 months so ******* we have to go through this again and for how long.When will this end?Never again, I would buy a Jeld-Wen product and I urge everyone to do the same.
