    contractor demanded down payment for house repairs. Payed by check for $3437.00 but after 6 cancelations I ask for check back >no funds available and my check was gone ( not held in escrow)After 5 visits to bank after *** after being told each time by contractor funds were on hand Sent me a copy from some company claiming transfer made this was first of week, now Friday still no funds. I have original check and copy of so called transfer.     On July 15, 2023 we agreed to a proposal for deck and balcony work on our home in ****** ** with ********************* of PB Solutions, LLC. On 7/17/2023 and 7/21/2023 we paid $4,775 on each date respectively, representing a 50% ****************** was to start no later than August 1, 2023. Since that date, the contractor never initiated the work, and continually made excuses on why work would only start in another week or another day, over and over. After several months of these excuses, we finally communicated to him that we wanted a full refund and were cancelling the work given our need to get the project completed. Since then and for the past approx 4 months, he has refused to provide us with the full refund (he did provide $5000 in cash after a lot of arguing he owed us our money). The multitude of lies and excuses have continued to this date, and we really need to get this resolved and our full refund provided asap so we can complete the necessary repairs to our home. He is now refusing to respond to our phone calls and text messages. Upon further investigation in recent days, we are unable to find this business registered, so wondering if he is illegally representing himself, and the public needs to be alerted as well.
