      Called Compare Foods to see what time they were closing since it was Christmas Eve. The lady told me they were closing at 8pm. I asked the lady did they have some sweet potatoes and how a pound were they? She said they were .99 cent a pd. I told her okay, I will be there to pick up some. I arrived at the store and picked up my sweet potatoes which were 2/99 cent. I had gotten **** pds which my total should have been $1.92 but ****** charged me $3.90. I told her that the price she charged me was incorrect. She called over a lady who was very rude about the transaction. She said that the jumbo sweet potatoes were 2/99 not the small ones. I told her that there was a sign that stated that they were that price. I even told her that I could show her. She wanted to be argumentative with me about the situation and she didn't want to walk over there. Finally, she walked over to where they were and she seen the sign. I took a pic of the sign just in case. She called a man over in product and they start speaking Spanish in front of me which was rude. She then told me that she was going to do me a refund this time like she was doing me a favor. She went in to do a refund for the sweet potatoes but she did it at a higher price which would give me back less. I asked her why are you giving me back less than what I paid? She said that she was charging me higher because that is what the price should have been for the sweet potatoes. I told her you can't go in to charge me more per pound than what I paid so you can't give me back less because that's not right. If I paid that much and you over charged me, then I am *********** get that back. She didn't credit me back my correct amount nor was she apologetic. They should stop trying to cheat certain people out of their money to make themselves richer. Hope the company can learn from the complaints that's sent in and take them seriously on how the workers treat the customers. Without us customers, there will be no paychecks for workers.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      The location that I was at was at ************************************************************; *****. You are correct, I should have never been treated like that no matter what the circumstances was and who I was as a person. Hope this will get resolved soon otherwise I will have to take my own matters in hand. Thanks in advance.

      I am rejecting this response because:  I went into the store on occasions to ask for the gentleman and the security guard act like he didn't know who I was talking about. I was sent to the window and the ladies at the window acted like they didn't know who I was speaking about. Then they called the lady over who was the same lady who gave me problems from the beginning. At first she acted liked she didn't know who I was talking about when I said his name. I said the manager of the store ********************. I said his first name starts with **** something like that because I couldn't pull it up. She said she was the manager and asked me if she could help me? I said you are the lady who gave me problems, No you can't help me. I was told to ask for ******************** so will he be back or is he gone for the day? She said he was not there and she wanted me to write down my information to leave it with her. I didn't trust her and I was not leaving my information with her after the way she treated me the last time. It seems like we are not getting anywhere so I just have to do what I have to do. I am not going to keep wasting my time and gas going back and forth down there. They are not going to compensate me for my gas if they didn't want to reimburse me for being over charged.
