I'm a US Vet. and I had to go to their facility during an emergency. I reported all information needed so that Atrium would get their money. After getting a bill the first time I called the VA and recovered all information needed so that Atrium would get their money. Atrium should had did their part with getting with VA to get paper work in order but they prefer I do their work through my medical issues. Even after the VA had sent payment I continue to receive bills. Many calls later I was able to do their work in getting zero balance. For me I will not go back to this lack of professionalism place.Review from Tracey S

I changed to Atrium 2+ years ago and I have been pleases with the service I've received. Everyone (receptionist, phone rep, in-person, ************** practitioner has always been professional, courteous, patient, and helpful. I appreciate the care they have given me.Review from Zandalee K.

I have a heart condition, and I went to the ** for emergency help. My nurse told me I was being discriminated against because of my age, but that "it was just part of the system". I'm disappointed that this company not only allows discrimination, but that it is accepted, and even encouraged. I do not feel safe with Atrium. I feel if I continue to receive care from this company, my life will be put in danger. However, there are not many other companies I can go to to receive emergency help in my area. Atrium as a whole has repeatedly neglected my needs, and failed to provide me the the basic care, compassion, and attention I deserve.Review from Judith P

Atrium Health ICU saved my daughter's life after a suicide attempt several years ago. She was in *** for almost 2 weeks. She then went into ********** Health, for almost another 2 weeks. Everyone was great and she received excellent treatment. She continues to do well. She is seeing a psychiatrist for the first time in about ***** years and this doctor is excellent too!I was in the Atrium hospital a couple years ago. I thought I was having a mental breakdown. Atrium found I had an acute UTI and extremely low sodium. Everyone was great. I was in the hospital about 5 days and they also had me see a tele-med psychiatrist. After reading all my charts, he talked with me and prescribed new medication. I am doing fine at 81 years old.My personal doctor is an Internist with Atrium and I just love her. She is always on top of things. Any test results that are not normal, she sends me to the appropriate doctor if needed. If you are looking for a great doctor call ************* *****!!!Our family will always rely on Atrium, the greats in ************. GA **************Review from ERIKA S

** facility in ******* pt comes in with UTI infection she was told they would call her meds to the pharmacy. They did not call in any meds. We called back to the ** to find out why. They do not have any notes on the record stating that there was going to be a prescription called in. Nobody knows anything about it. We get the run around. Two weeks later pt is having a miscarriage due to UTI moved to her kidneys. Now she is having high fever and pain which caused her to miscarry. Baby delivered at 17 weeks (pt did not have primary care established due to being from out of state) She had a miscarriage because negligent doctor forgot to call in her antibiotics to the pharmacy for a UTI infectionReview from Paul C

Urology Nurse stood me up for an appointment. She called to reschedule while I was driving so I asked her to call later (when it wouldn't be illegal or unsafe) to talk to her. She then had the nerve to post a lie on my medical chart that I refused to discuss rescheduling with her. A simple apology for standing me up would have sufficed, but to make things worse she inexplicably felt the need to CYA by actually writing up a lie. The end result is that I have a cancer problem that is being callously disregarded and lied about by the very person designated to see me through this.Review from Kathia M

Quiet honestly terrible service for the extremely expensive price I have been charged. After days of high fever I decided to take my son to atrium ER. I waited about 4 hours for my son to be seen by a doctor who did not take more than 10 mins to check my child. All this happened in the hall way (something which felt like a small cube) so not even a propper room. I was charged the small amount of $2500 for hospital, or what they consider room service. This on top of the physicians services (absoluetly not worth it either). My child continued with the symptoms (fever and ear pain), so 3 days later I took him to ******** Health, where he was actually diagnosed with an ear infection. In fact, he had an ear infection (confirmed by Charlotte eye, ear, ************* physician a day later). I will avoid by all means going to atrium and I will NEVER recommend it (on the other hand, I will make sure I share my terrible experience. Absolutely unprofessional, almost unethical to charge for such terrible service. It is not worth your time and money.Review from Joanna H

My doctor is amazing. The service has become so ridiculous since becoming Atrium. I can no longer communicate directly with my doctor--nurses and other doctors intercept the messages. I go days without having a return message on MyWakeHealth, ultimately making me call and ask if my message was received and days later I receive a response. Refills and messages with my pharmacy are not being communicated. On the last occasion I spoke with **** and she was so rude and unprofessional. All of this has prompted this review....which I rarely do. In this case it is warranted.Review from Betty P

At Atrium Health in **********, the *** are very rude and disrespectful. A person name *** left my boyfriend uncover naked walked out the room without covering him up and never came back and f I actually sit there in the room the next day and watched them *** walk pass the room back and forth when he would call for help no one would come and see what he wanted they all ignored him, seriously Atrium Health is going to have to do better have a conversation with them about how they treat the patients, as I was in the room they call them turning my BF in the bed left out the room fail to cover him up I end up covering him back up, this laziness unprofessional work they are doing is unacceptable something is going to have to change.Review from Dave J
