My internet went down about 8:00 AM. I called them and the tech support went through the norm of look at the lights on the modem/router. Everything was fine. Then he had me reboot everything. It still did not work. He said he will check things and call me back in 15 minutes. He call back in 1.5 hours. Eventually said they were working in the area. I checked my neighbors and they were fine. I called back and they said they can get someone there on Monday. This is Thursday. I argued that that was not acceptable so he said they would get someone there today at 3:00 PM. At 3:30 I called and they said it's a window from 3:00 - 5:00. Around 4:00 it connected again. No reason for why it was down and no one showed up to fix anything

Ripple Fiber ran cable in my neighborhood in town of Lexington, SC over the past few months. The cable hookups were supposed to be on the property line but appears they cut cable too short and cable was left near middle of one side of my yard. The cable feeds two houses. It's in the right of way but still in my yard (11 ft from property line and 4 ft from my driveway). Ripple assured Lexington Town Council when they were approved that the hook up would be on the property line. After filling in dirt and moving sod to cover the first enormous dig, they dug again to hook up our neighbor. After fixing sod after the second dig, they dug again today. Prior to completion of the neighborhood, I complained to everyone I saw and was assured the cable would be moved to the property line but it wasn't. I even had a ticket number 2762587. I complained to Bobbie Gilbert SVP of Public Affairs who is in Greenville, SC and Steve Helton who is supposed to be the big boss out of Charlotte. They stopped by after meeting with town council, but nothing was ever done. Can't believe they can dig on your yard any time your neighbor has an internet issue. We try to have a nice yard and this is very discouraging. If Ripple comes to your area, you'll need to watch them as they do not live up to their promises. They never return to fix their mistakes.

I started talking to Ripple on 2/15. The journey from Feb to 10/14/2024 has left me with many random unannounced visitors in my back fenced yard. Several of the visitors told me they were going to fix the problem only to leave & never return. I quickly figured out that no one & I mean no one was on the same page, hence I cancelled at least 3 scheduled appointments to install. When they tried to install on 7/18/2024, it was raining so the contractor could not use the ladder which I understand. Fortunately, this gentleman had the wherewithal to see if the interface was live before he left. It was not. And, yes I asked if it was possible to see if my house was live from the office before the tech arrived. Instead, they paid a guy to drive from *********** to do an installation in a massive rainstorm on a house that did not have a live connection. And somewhere in my conversations with staff, they said that was a waste of money. I had another installation scheduled for 7/25/2024. Again, that didn't happen. As a matter of fact, I do not have a live connection as of yet. I also think it is important to mention that our neighborhood president has a huge hole at the front of his lot which has been like that since 8/3/2024 very close to his mailbox which which would be considered a higher traffic area in terms of lot real estate. He has 3 small children that could fall in this hole at any time for which in reading reviews on the Better Business Bureau website, one customer was told that ********************** is not liable for any damages to property and will not offer compensation. I guess that explains why there is still a massive hole that has been there for over 2 months that Ripple Fiber created and has exposed cables just sitting there.

Ripple Fiber left our community in quite a mess. They failed to keep their promise to restore pavement . This has been ongoing since November 2023. They have also failed to pay bill for restoration that was finally done in February 2024. This is a horrible business model.

Ripple Fiber destroyed the front lawns on ***************** in ********* SC. They were inconsiderate leaving debris and now dead grass and mud where they dug for 3 days. The lack of consideration for our neighborhood is not a company I would do business with and I will not buy their internet service. Repair the damages on our street and replace the dead grass. Terrible company.

I want to give these guys a chance but they contradict and seem to stall a settlement on damage done in my yard while using easement privileges. It seems as though we are not allowed to be treated the same as the executives. I was told if I continue to pursue what I considered just compensation it may go higher up and I may not receive anything. I am pretty sure if the damage was done to the yard of a board member they would expect real compensation. I will change my review if things change but I am not holding my breath. After reading complaints here see only placative responses that seem pat on company policy. WHo knows there may be hope. When someone is digging in your yard do not roll over make sure you understand the consequences and ask for compensation.

Ripple fiber had been digging in our yard & laying cable on 11/20/2023; we returned home & discovered we had no internet, no cable TV, and spotty cellphone service (our Verizon extender runs through Spectrum internet). Ripple fiber made no effort to communicate that their workers had cut our Spectrum cable. Spectrum came first thing the next morning & had to lay a new cable, which was buried a few days after. We completed a construction ticket for Ripple; responsesorry we hit your Spectrum line, glad it was repaired. On 4/17/2024, we returned home to find an unmarked white truck (with cable in the back) pulling away. We discovered, again, that we had no internet, no cable TV, and spotty cell service. We learned that the individual was a Ripple fiber subcontractor who was digging in our yard to lay cable to make our neighbors home fiber ready; no effort to inform us that they cut our Spectrum cable AGAIN! Spectrum came first thing the next morning, repaired our line & restored service AGAIN. Ripplesorry your line was cut twice & you didnt receive any notice. Your feedback will be used for future quality improvement.

Sometime in the afternoon on 1/10/24, Ripple's contractors disconnected our Spectrum internet service. It appears the dinner bell rang and they packed up for the day, so I came home at the end of the day to find the pedestal uncovered and the service off. We called Spectrum, who came out the next morning 1/11/24 at 9am to reconnect us. Some kind of disconnect notice like all the other utilities (electricity, gas, water) would have been nice - certainly a better way to get new customers. JBG, ***************, **

Contractors in Breckonridge neighborhood have not only dug up the yards installing their cable for fiber but have managed to cut the existing internet cables! Today marks the 5th time I am without internet services in less than a week!

Terrible people, terrible service, they will also spend days and days in your yard for repairs in the neighborhood they are working in, it's like having 4-5 uninvited guests in your yard for 2-3 days at a time, even overnight, keeping our kids awake, and our pets on edge, not to mention 4-5 vehicles parked in the road, all rude poeple, all the way up to the poeple at their offices if you call them. save yourself time, call your county government, they do not have easement access, they are not utilities, cal Code Enforcement, call Permitting and call ****. I did.
