TERRIBLE company, if I could give zero stars I would. I reported a leak in September which led to multiple different people coming out to put a bid in for the repair but no repair ever took place which led to mold growth that every maintenance tech denied until I asked for a piece of the wood from the shower to have it tested for mold when the tech came out in March, six months after the initial report of the leak, and ripped all the tiles from the wall, exposing the literal black mold that I had been saying was there for MONTHS, only then did the tech want to say oh no thats definitely mold after telling me five minutes prior that it was just mildew. This tech also discovered theres a crack in the foundation of the house that I was told would need to be repaired before anything else could be done to the bathroom but then I receive a text from maintenance stating the repairs were not approved and all they would be doing is retiling the shower with the old moldy tiles they had just taken off - leaving the black mold as well as the crack in the foundation of the house. This is obviously a breach in the lease agreement on their part and after months of trying to get ahold of them through emails, letters, phone calls and even through the portal and being ignored I made the decision to put my notice in and move out due to the extreme health concerns for me and my three small children from the now confirmed black mold and STILL received no correspondence however they did continue to email me about fees being charged to the portal that they locked me out of before I even moved out. On top of all of that, I just received a bill from them for over $21k for repairs/rent for the rest of the lease that THEY were in breach of that I sent multiple emails/letters telling them I would not be making anymore payments until the leak/mold was fixed, which I am legally allowed to do, and also legally allowed to vacate a dwelling when the landlord is refusing to keep it habitable.

This company took over managing a property we had been renting for the past several years. The transition started out as a headache. We were told they'd reach out to us with portal login credentials and they most certainly did not. It took several attempts of trying to contact them before we got anywhere, and when we did, their system was "glitching" (so we were told) and it took an additional 4 or so days to be able to log into the resident portal and almost causes us to be late on making our rental payment for the upcoming month. Then there was the "monthly miscellaneous fee" on top of the rent that wouldn't clear even though it was paid online along with the rent. Following that nonsense, there was the back and forth as to whether or not the property was purchased and being sold or if the lease was just not being renewed. Too .much confusion. Finally, we were assessed a final miscellaneous fee, which we were told would be removed as long as we vacated by the end of our lease....we did and it was not. Also, we were charged for damage which we didn't do and when we tried contacting the local property mgmt office, no one answers, and no one returned our calls or emails. If you can help it, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. There's a serious lack of professionalism and common courtesy. I wish I could rate them "0" ??.

Would give 0 stars. Bridge homes purchased my home from another company ( *****) took about 1 month to get everything in the computer. Since they took over nothing but headaches. Making payments are inconvenient 60$ processing fee to make a payment with a debit card, if paying by bank account and it takes time to process over the weekend and its late another 125$ charge. The property manager is old as dirt and never stops talking and has made so many false promises. I have spent a ridiculous amount of money in fees. Now that I have lived in the Home since October and have been paying a monthly miscellaneous fee for 8.00. A monthly utility billing fee of ***** they have just now ( the month of March, 5 months into living in this home they have added 3 separate charges for electric, sewer and water, 2 utility charges of ***** for this month and a ***** utility account set up fee that was not ever mentioned in my lease. I have not received any contact from them. When I looked to see if I could break the lease they was 3 times the rent to get out of the lease. I am a single mother that agreed to a monthly rental price of 1795. For the month of March they have my rent as *******. I would have NEVER signed a lease knowing that this would be the case. I Am struggling so hard right now it is not even funny. I cannot even afford groceries for my children at this point with all the ** extra charges they have added.

I paid my rent. And I paid on time. I use certified mail and postal money orders. I have confirmation from Charles that they recieved my rent. And guess what! They still lied to the court and said I didn't pay my rent as if I couldn't prove I paid my rent. N the post office is federal. Someone should do something about these people.

So in Nov 2024 this company bought out the house we rented from another company. That was a huge mistake. First problem, they took 2 days before I had to pay rent to send me the loggin info. The website is a NIGHTMARE!!!! Cant see when your rent is posted and there is a $60 processing ******* also have to put in the amount you want to pay in stead of it automatically doing it for you, but you cant see your rental documents to see how much you actually owe.Second problem, I couldnt take off the payment type I didnt want to use, ***** ***** said shed look into it for me, she never emailed me back or even got back in contact with me.Third problem, since I couldnt take off the payment type I didnt want anymore, they charged me $50 for a bounce back charge. And tried to charge me TWICE for my rent. This company is so unprofessional. When trying to resolve the issue the manager I spoke to the first time REFUSED to speak with me and made the employee I was talking to tell me she wasnt there but she was talking in the background. Im keeping all the emails and sending them to corporate when their office opens, lets see if it gets me anywhere. Hopefully the corporate office has more grace and customer service than the people I have to work with.

I will not rent from Bridge Homes again under any circumstance. They stopped accepting rent payments from my bank half-way through the lease. They would not accept credit cards online either. This forced me to take a half-day off from work every month to get three money orders cut and then I had to drive them to a rented office space to drop off within a specific window of time on the last tuesday or thursday of every ******** seems to me that they were making it as hard as possible to pay the rent on time in order to charge me substantial late fees. They charged $70 a day, then $75 dollars the next day, etc. We got an eviction notice a week later after struggling to find out from them how to pay with the money orders. Got that to go away when we sent them money but they charged us $50 to send us the eviction notice. They took all of my deposit and charged me $440 on top of that. Since they rejected my credit card payment of that money, we are now dealing with a creditor because they sent it to collections.

Let me just say that renting from them the past 4 years was terrible. Communication is by far the worst. When you point out things that were not mentioned or explained to you by property management, they answer with things that do not pertain to your question or statement. Basically go around your proof. We're in the process of getting a lawyer for $16,000 worth of fees that they only explained in a move out calculation list. This is all after money was sent to them in an effort to get out of eviction status and the property manager only telling us how much was due, not that it was all due at once. Our proof is in our photos and emails and other documentation kept throughout the years! The pictures that they had online of the home prior to our move in looked like they were from a different ********* The house didnt appear the same as the photos when we moved in. Neither did the landscaping. Ironically enough when they placed the house for rent after our move out, they used those same photos. The investors (owner) definitely invested in a house that I would consider a chop job. Uneven door frames, water heater issues, drafty windows. I'm even considering going back through my power bills to get credit for the faulty hvac and unit outside the house that had a motor that was not the correct size and over worked through the summer months just to kick out decent air. **************** won't do anything either. They'll just forward your emails to the same property manager that evaded your issues from the start.
