AAMCO has refused to service my car because I made one last minute cancellation and tried to reschedule for the next business day. I took my car in AAMCO twice in the summer of 2022. On the first visit, they did a Courtesy Check and found that my intake manifold needed to be replace. On the second visit, they replaced the intake manifold. I scheduled a third appointment for an oil change. I am a remote worker and lost Internet the evening before the appointment, so I had to drive from Charlotte to Durham to work at the office. I tried to reschedule the appointment for the next business day and AAMCO has been declining my appointment requests since. Over 6 months passed AAMCO and still in March 2023, AAMCO is still refusing to accept my appointments saying that "As communicated to you through *********, due to past scheduled appointments and failure to show up or notify us, we are not able to service your vehicle." I missed one appointment not appointments and they were notified because I tried reschedule unless I am forgetting some other appointments. Seems crazy for a lifetime ban for missing a single appointment.

Unfortunately, we are not able to hold time slots for prior customers who do not show when scheduled. ******************** was scheduled on consecutive Fridays to have additional repairs completed that were diagnosed on his initial visit. Parts were ordered and kept at the facility for ******************** but continued no shows (no just one as is stated) forced us to return the parts and no longer block off time slots for this individual.

We value the relationships we have with our customers and make our living repairing vehicles. We have no incentive not to work on his vehicle but when other customers needs can't be met because appointments are not kept or notification of cancellation is provided, we have to put the needs of our respectful customers in front of individuals who do not show up when scheduled.

************************ disappointment in not being able to have his vehicle repaired at this facility only speaks volumes to our quality, pricing and integrity. There are many repair facilities to choose from in the area but our stellar reputation stands as proof of ********************** desire to return.

I am getting my car serviced at another auto shop and I no longer wish to do business with AAMCO at any locations. Although, I am insulted that AAMCO continues to misrepresent what happens, I just do not care to continue the pointless back and forth. Does consecutive Fridays mean that I rescheduled two appointments instead of one that lead to me being banned? Am I disrespectful for needing to reschedule for situations outside of my control? The fact that I tried to reschedules shows that wasn't just a no-show and I continued to communicate with the shop. They could not hold parts over the weekend when they are closed. I can walk-in to other auto shops and get my oil changed when I am available instead of trying to meet appointments at AAMCO. AAMCO response speaks volumes to me too. My disappointment with being banned and refused service. While I said nothing about their quality and pricing, but they do lack integrity.
