terrible experience. i had the hearth doctor come out to do a routine cleaning of a linear fireplace. we wanted a more red flame than the blue see through flame we were getting. that was the only issue we had before they came out. after they left the fireplace started creaking, there was bubbling of the paint above the fire place, and there was cracking in the tile of the fireplace. they offered to come back to try to figure out what was wrong and we scheduled a 3 hour window for them to show up during the work day between 2-5. the guy was running late from a previous apt and wasnt going to show ip until 5 minute after 5 and i had other apts that evening so i asked to reschedule for a saturday because i cant just be available for 3 hours during a work day multiple times. he said that was fine and would call me back to let me know which saturday they could get out to us. i never heard back. when i followed up a few weeks later they tried to say we canceled the apt and i was supposed to call them back. i let them know that was not accurate. the guy i was speaking with got extremely aggressive on the phone speaking over me and lying about what had happened. he also said he had been getting yelled at the whole morning by other customers and i honestly totally understand why. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Yes we did come out and cleaned the fireplace and made all the adjustments you wish for then he reported to us that the fireplace tile had cracked above the fireplace We contacted the manufacture they agreed with us that something is not right behind all this is not something that you can see in a normal inspection unless you have x-ray vision and I dont know anyone who does So we set up a time to come out to do a free inspection behind the wall we were going to drill a hole through your cracked grout what you agreed to do then your fianc question was how am I going to see all this hole Then they couldnt be there for this free inspection that we were going to give them that we were more than willing to do They never called the office to reschedule and then are mad at us because they didnt reschedule an appointment that they canceled in the first place We volunteered to inspect this for you at no charge We instructed you dont use the fireplace until you get this repaired because this as normal in construction was not done right Even though it probably tells you in the owners manual what to do Again dont use this fireplace until you find someone who can fix it for you And I do not appreciate you abusing my office staff with your language over the telephone Were here to help but were not gonna be abused by a customer All we did was turn the fireplace on we are not liable for anything behind the wall because we cannot see it and we did not install it But I was more than willing to come and check this but you did cancel your appointment You cancel this appointment the day of the job
