I hired Sedona to install ******* feet of French drains and catch basins on my property to mitigate water and to direct the downspout water away from my home. They took a shortcut and did not line the trenches with geofabric to prevent them from being clogged with soil or install perforated tubes encased with fabric to prevent clogs. I asked them to correct it after I was informed by a drainage expert with the ***************** and the owner, ***********************, told me if I wanted it done right I would have to pay him more money or dig up the stone filled trenches myself to make the job easier for his workers, (I am a disabled 54 year old single woman). When I told him that I could not dig up the stones, he told me that he would give me a 10 year warranty on the drains that they would not clog w soil which I have him stating on my security cameras, and his office emailed me the doc. All of the French drains did clog within 2 months of the job being completed. At that time we reached out to ***************** and he told us it was our fault they clogged because we should have had established grass and shrubbery to prevent the drains from clogging with dirt from below. He refused to honor his warranty. I have had multiple contractors out to my home, *********************** of the ***************** Stormwater *************** Engineering who conducted a survey on Sedonas work and all have said the same: what we have are not French drains and that Sedona Waterproofing sold us $13,373.00 of worthless garbage. Additionally, while doing the work they damaged my brick walkway and installed two channel drains in the front of my home incorrectly which have to be repaired. When we showed it to ***************** he told us to get a ***** to fix the brick but has not offered to pay for it I have received estimates for as much as $35,000 to correct and repair the French drains and have at least $5000 worth of damage to my brick path and concrete walkway. I am asking for a full refund plus damages.
