    I ordered a mother of the bride gown for my daughter's wedding with an amount of $570 last July 29, 2022, I waited for almost 4 ********** just got it & to my suprise it's way to small to their chart size. I' m 5.5" & weigh 127lbs & all of my dress is in size 6. They let me sign a contract that i agree with the ******************** & all sales are final & are neither refundable nor exchangeable but their size chart are not true to their size. They gave me a size chart please see attachment that the bust line is 35 for size 6. My bust line is 34 & up to this time is still 34 & 35 on their chart will give me enough space to fit but when i tried the gown it is way too small at the bust line that you can hardly close it & when i measure the bust line it is just 34 instead of a 35 that they declare on their chart guide. Their size chart is misleading & deceptive and now they won't allow me to return the item even though the fault in on there end for erroneus size chart. I have no gown to wear on my daughers wedding & i'm throwing away a $570 just because of their misleading & deceptive product that has NO return or exchange policy. This is unfair, we are working hard for our money & $570 is not a small amount, including the amount of time that i need to wait with fully paid just for nothing. I know we have a law that forbid companies from misleading consumers with deceptive product labels. I hope your kind office can help us with this kind of companies thats trying to take advange of us.     We are very sorry that ************************** (customer) is not satisfied with her gown purchase. The customer contacted us via text message on June 27, 2022 inquiring about this gown. She specified which style number, color, and size she wanted and then she texted us her self-reported measurements. Our sales representative replied with the designer's size charts. Customer requested a size 6 and our sales representative suggested a size 8 based on the customer's self reported measurements. According to the designer's size chart she needed a size 8 to accommodate her waist measurement. The customer stated that she felt that the size 8 would be too large and she still requested a size 6. Our sales representative also informed her that there was a size 8 ready to ship from a US warehouse and she would receive her gown within 30 days. If the customer ordered the size 6 it would not arrive until November 2022. 

     

    The customer was aware that the size 6 was too small for her measurements and that it would require a few months in production. We offered her a brand new size 8 gown that would ship to her within 30 days and she did not want to purchase it, so she ordered the size 6 that was not ready to ship and that would not suit her body's measurements.

     

    As a business we offer our customers all of the information they need to make a purchase decision. Our sales representatives are trained to make a recommendation based on the customer's largest measurement and also recommend items that are in stock so the customer can receive their gown as quickly as possible. However, customers will sometimes choose a size other than what we recommend. This customer made her own decision for her purchase and that is her right. However, we cannot be responsible for the gown being too small as we made the correct size recommendation.

    I recommend the size 8 for your waist measurement and you can have the bust and hips tailored down. If you prefer a smaller size it might be tight at the waist or it may not zip. You are welcome to choose your size and we offer a recommendation based on the largest measurement.

    We do not alter mother of the bride/groom gowns, so you would order the gown in the standard size of your choosing and then bring it to a tailor near you for alterations!

    Unfortunately these gowns are mass produced and cannot be customized with different measurements.

    The designer currently has the size 4 and 6 in production and there is only 1 of each being made right now. If someone else orders them the new estimated delivery date will be 02/01/2023.

    I am rejecting this response because, the waistline fits me, there was No Problem with the waistline, it was the bustline that doesn't fit, it was even in the message that my bustline is 34 inches & their chart says its 35, & I can't even close the bustline even I don't have a bra on it. I'm not fat & I even lost weight. I'm 5'5 & weight 127lbs. And I even ask them if they are true to their size & they didn't response, I'm always size 6 & not in my entire life did wear a size 8 which they are forcing me to get so I'll be just the one to do the alteration & for them to get away of their size chart error. Their bust line is to small & I try to take a measure on the bustline of the gown it's just 34 inches that doesn't match the size in their chart. I still didn't return the gown because if they still refuse to refund that gown I'll file a case on them & the gown is the proof that they have a deceitful sizing chart, with all the moral damages & all the stress that they have given me & refusing to return my money. I can even show the court that the waistline fits me right & the bustline that they say 35 on their chart & i'm 34 ( took a measurement & still 34) & I can hardly close it & show them how small the gown. They are violating a Consumer Protection Act causing so much stress to their consumer & the quality of the Gown is not as the picture shows.
