LC Industries' other mission is to provide meaningful employment for people who are blind. Today, LC Industries is the largest employer of people who are blind in the United States.
In addition,since LC Industries philanthropy helps prevent future generations of blindness, LC Industries offers financial support of the Duke University Eye Center which helps conduct vital research to eradicate diseases and conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration.
