My wife and I decided to add a screened porch. I called ***** Construction, their estimator came out and then sent a quote. I went by their office and gave them an $8,000 required deposit. The secretary informed me that someone would notify me when the construction would start after their Monday meeting. However, they were slow in getting back with us or scheduling our work. When I contacted them, they placed blame on others in company, this person and that person was supposed to call you. I sent a text message to the estimator and one to the secretary. We were finally contacted by the estimator to let us know someone would contact us. This supposed contact was to once again to let us know the date of construction, he then started to scold me as if I was his child about contacting others in his company, this is where the nice guy in me was gone and I reminded this employee that I was the client paying for this job. I was to be called on Monday for the date requested and this was Wednesday, the next morning I went by ***** Constructions office where upon a request for a refund of my $8,000 deposit was told it would be the following Monday when I could get it. Today is that Monday, I called about my refund and was told once again it would take several days for my refund to be processed. I feel at this point that this company is earning interest on my funds.
