At the time of getting this membership I wrote my signature on an iPad not being told that it was a contract it was sold to me like a month to month cancel at any time. I didn't know it was a contract until I actually wanted to cancel my membership. They rush you into signing up and speeding over the process, you don't know until it's too late. I moved out the location and needed to cancel my membership even though my new address isn't out 15 mile radius. It takes 18 minutes without traffic to get to the gym and that is not possible for me being that I work and have family obligations. I only got this membership because at the time my apartment gym was closed due to COVID. It seems this location doesn't have a heart and doesn't want to give people the option to cancel without having to pay thousands of dollars just to leave. It is really sad and don't seem right they always getting new management and trainers. When trying to call this location they do not have a voicemail and rarely answer. Their email is not even listed on the site. Anywho I get in contact with the gym send them over my information as to why I want to end my membership with their location they say they can't due to distance. I advocate for myself get no response then I included customer service. Then later I get an email from the club stating that they can cancel it (remember already having proof of my new location). I am thinking great let me follow up after I responded. Then they sent an email saying they can not cancel it only after I followed up. They need to cancel it, I have it all via email in chronological order. This was a mistake on their end,not mine and they need to own it as a company. If I would have never responded back double checking saying they would cancel it. I would have been blinded thinking it was cancelled until seeing money pulled from my account. I am really just asking them to keep their word, you messed and need to cancel my membership as you stated in email.
