I DO NOT RECOMMEND RENTING ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY IF THEY ARE THE ONES AS MANAGEMENT!!! They will treat you like you are a dead bug on the bottom or your shoe. They do not care about you or your time. Upon moving into a property located in Fayetteville, NC., there was ketchup and mustard stains on the walls and ceilings. There were screw holes in the ceiling as well. There were spots on the walls where they mudded but did not paint over so every time you took a shower it changed colors. My mother and I bother pointed it out and asked for paint to paint over it and we were told that we cant get the paint and that they wont fix it. The front of the dishwasher fell off. About a month before the Christmas holiday the pipe under the kitchen sink busted and flooded the kitchen. Lots of water went into the floor vents. We put in a work order to have them checked and cleaned out. That never happened. During an inspection from the ac guy (which the ac never worked properly the whole time we lived there, almost 2 years) the technician found it full of water. THAT WAS ALMOST A YEAR LATER!!! My husband and I were both starting to cough and having breathing issues form it. They just put fake wood looking floor over the moldy and rotten sub flooring and said it was fixed. The backyard was half way of sand and grass. There was garbage everywhere and my dogs kept finding it. The screens on the windows didn't fit correctly and were recycled so they either fell out or just simply didnt work at all. The back deck boards were rottening and splitting. The side of the chimney got a whole from the gutters not being attached right so rain water just ran down the side of the house. We tried cleaning the walls when we moved in and it was just taking the paint (if thats what they want to call it) off the walls. They claim that the master bedroom was professionally painted prior to moving in when it clearly wasnt. You can walk in there and see where they stopped rolling the tan color and the white color. It was spotty and horrible looking. During move out inspection, due to my husband retiring from the military medically, Jacob L was 50 minutes LATE. I texted and called him. It sounded like I woke him up and he started swearing at me and said I could turn the keys in at the office. I said no we had it scheduled for 930 am and that we wanted to be there during move out. He was disrespectful to my husband that my husband had to walk away before he said something he shouldnt have. Jacob was trying to nit pick every little thing. My husband and i patched up every screw hole we made to hang some pictures. We even had paint matched, just didnt have the time to paint really quick. Because the garbage people broke some glass and didnt pick it up, is trying to charge us $100 to have someone come out and clean it. We even replaced a door in the house that we accidently put a hole in cause it is the cheap cardboard doors. The doors in the house barely fit, or not at all, had to have a piece a wood to make it so they would latch or they were already dented and scratched up. He wants to charge us to have the walls professionally painted just to keep our security deposits. When i pointed out that he told me my bedroom was professionally done before we moved in and it clearly wasnt he got pissed and defensive. When he sent me a picture of the broken glass that is by the street that you dont see in the picture sent, I called and that is what he said. After he told me, i asked for an update on the quotes for the painters and he got snarky and said this isnt about that, this is about the glass. I just simply asked for an update cause he said he would give my husband and i an update within the next week or 2. Havent heard a peep. When confronted about it, he gets nasty with me. Overall, this company, specifically, Jacob Lockart, is a con artist and just tries to keep your security deposit because they are greedy.
