            We hired AAA Glass to repair several windows to our house **** ********* ** ************ *** On 3/29/21 we paid 1/2 up front of the total bill of $473.36 which was $236.68. We were having the work done to sell the rental home before we put it on the market. On 5/20/21 we were charged two separate payments of $236.68 to our credit card. In January we were doing our tax's and saw the overcharge. We contacted the company on at least 4 different occasions. Each time we call, the company rep apologizes, acknowledges the mistake, tells me the lady who does the books is out of the office, but they assure me that my credit card will get a credit for $268.68 as soon as the lady who does the books comes back to the office. When I called last week I told the company rep that my next step was to notify the BBB. The rep apologized again and told me that the money would be refunded to my credit card. I just checked my credit card statement today (22 April 2022) and there was no credit from AAA Glass on my card. So we are due $236.68 in over payment. We would like a credit made to our credit card ending in **** please.

            If I could rate this company less than a 1 star I certainly would. The company has a new owner, his business practice is less than desirable. He failed twice to follow up after scheduling a tech to come out to our home to see the job in question. When they didn't show or call, I reached out each time to find out what the problem was. Finally after the 2nd no show, (my day ruined waiting on them) I was told by the new owner, he would not send anyone out to measure or look at the job without payment first (hundreds of dollars in a deposit ) job unseen except for a screenshot from my phone. This is absolutely absurd! I have to pay a deposit in the amount of hundreds of dollars and no one followed up with me...not even a courtesy call to say they would not be out as promised. I would not recommend this company...based on my personal experience the "pay first" practice is unacceptable and inappropriate.

            We had multiple conversations with Ms. ****** and explained that the price she was quoted would not change. We explained that we no longer send our technicians out to measure when we are not guaranteed to get the work. The photo she sent was enough to give her a quote. She stated that she did want to move forward with the job but wanted our technicians to measure before we receive a payment. Multiple times we explained that the price would not change and in order to send our technicians out we would need a half deposit if she planned to move forward with the job. She then got belligerent and began to complain about our business practices. We scheduled our technicians to go to her home twice and they did go (we can provide gps tracking proof that they were there) and she was not home. We explained that our technicians were delayed on emergency jobs but she was less than understanding.

            The owner of the company in question continues to dispute my concerns.
            We have reviewed our security cameras from 10-7 and 10-12. We've review the all footage from the driveway entrances and no one from AAA GLASS COMPANY ever came to our home. All footage is time-stamped per the hour/hours in question. My husband and I both were home 10-12 until 11:00 AM. The repeated promised arrival time once again was 9:00 AM. The above-mentioned rebuttal is another example of the company's untruths.
            The reason for the formal 'initial' complaint per this company is due to the fact they have misled and performed in a manner less than professional and continue to demonstrate the same in its response to my review.

            As has been stated multiple times, the quoted price would not change. She refused to comply with our company policies. Her refusal to comply means we can and we have refused to do business with her. But according to our gps records, our technicians did in fact go to her property.
