I had made a few purchases and had a wonderful visit previously with the female worker that was there taking care of me. About a few days has passed, due to some family issues and I was finally able to make it back up to the Mighty Dollar in *********** on **********, to ask for an exchange with my 6 year old daughter with me, because a toy she had purchased with her own money her grandmother had given her for the previous Mighty Dollar visit we went on, has several missing pieces and my daughter cried upon seeing this, as any child would and I wanted to make it right for her. So, I entered the Mighty Dollar in the day of November the 7, 2024, later on in the evening time before 5pm. The Female Manager was up front at the counter working, cutting open some boxes. I approached her and asked her for an exchange of the item, showing and explaining to her that there were several missing pieces of the toy that were not there. She told me that I couldn't exchange it. I explained politely that I'd had come sooner, but I was having some family issues and even was telling her what they were, although very personal to me and how vulnerable that made me feel. She quickly got angry and suddenly started waving her box cutter around in my face saying if I wanted to be smart, that I could just leave. I wanted to cry at that moment, because I was so scared and felt so embarrassed and my daughter was also terrified, looking up at me, clenching my hand hard, saying to me "Mama, let's go". So, I barely got out the words, I'm not being smart, I was just explaining why I wasn't able to come back sooner, but I'll just make sure I check everything before I leave from now on if I can't exchange it. She again said to me not to be smart or I can just leave then said to go exchange the toy and was still waving the box cutter around. I asked my daughter if she still wanted to look around while we were there while we were there and she said she just wanted to go home because she was scared.
