    I went under contract with Atlantic Builders and Design (AB&D) in Aug of 2023 to remove a weight bearing columns, install a beam, install trim work, paint the downstairs, make foundation crack repair (which damaged the original floors) and install new LVP flooring on a slab. I paid the deposit & waited 8 weeks for the work to start on Oct 30, 2023. Columns were removed and a beam was installed. Trim work was changed/added to the downstairs only. Paint began in December, but the first coat was the wrong color (ultra white). The correct color (pure white) was painted hit or miss around the house so there was a mixture of different whites on trim, walls, and ceilings. There were issues removing the old glue down floors, so the company added LVP over old flooring/plywood where the crack was. I paid in full and got them out of my house. That was the end of January 2024. 3 weeks later the brand-new floors buckled along the crack/plywood. The owner **** came over and said it was an easy repair and that he would have his team come out the next week. When I call the next week to follow up on scheduling the work, I was advised that the company had filed bankruptcy and I would need to speak to their attorney. I asked for their insurance and was never provided the information. It was learned that the concrete crack was never repaired causing moisture to damage the plywood which was installed under the new floors. there was no barrier used between the concrete and plywood, LVP flooring. Since the crack that caused issue with the original flooring was never repaired, the same damage happened to the new flooring. The total project took 16 weeks for basic work. The owners son took over my project in the middle and it went south immediately (paint/floors). The son lacked attention to detail, follow through and cut corners. The new floor could not be repaired so I paid another company $12,000 to repair the crack and finish the floor correctly.

    Our deck is only 2 months old and its already having structual issues. Completion of screened deck March 2024. The contract has a 1 year warranty and they have not responded to our complaints. The screen door doesn't open all the way and scrapes the floor, screen on door has fallen off 3 times already, deck frame is pulling away from each other, the balusters on railings are warping and twisting at top, unable to paint or stain to preserve wood due to how the screening was done, light fixed that they were suppose to fix was still loose, holes were filled in upon our request but not done correctly, did not follow foot print of original deck shortening and moving stairs making them steeper. Already reached out to them and not getting a response. We are requesting a refund so we can get the deck fixed properly.

    I paid the initial deposit on 2/12/2024. On or about 2/29/2024 I recieved an email to call *********************** who informed me that the wall panels would be available within a week and a half so the wanted to do the demolition in the bathroom that weekend. The demo completed and a check given for $7700.00 on 3/5/2024.Since then the company has not responded to my emails or phone call.
