  I took an CPE educational course from them on 12/8/2023 & 12/9/2023 to maintain my CPA license. They said they would report ****** Credits to the *** but they never did. I emailed and called them several times but they did not respond to my emails or phone calls. I've attached my emails to them. Please ask them to report ****** credits to the *** so that I can maintain my CPA license.

  *************************** attended our Tax Update Class in ************* on 12/8-9/2023.   In his registration, **************** identified his designation as a CPA.  According to the ***********************************, CPAs in ******** are regulated by the *********** and not IRS.   IRS regulates Tax Preparers and Enrolled Agents.

  When we offer ********************************* courses, there are two organizations under which we provide CPE:  ************************ of ***********s of Accountancy (*****) and IRS.  Drake Ventures is listed on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors with ***** and is an approved CPE provider for IRS.  Because registrants who identify themselves as CPAs are not regulated by **** our policy - in accordance with the standards set forth by ***** - is to issue CPE certificates which the attendee must track on their own for reporting to their respective *********** of ****************** Attached is the original CPE certificate issued to ****************, also in accordance with those standards.  Because IRS does NOT regulate CPA licenses or certifications, we do not typically report CPE hours to IRS for CPAs.  **************** indicated that he needed those hours reported to IRS to maintain his CPA license.

  However, to satisfy ******************** request, I have prepared a new Completion Certificate that is in accordance with IRS standards, which requires IRS-issued course numbers and names and the corresponding hours attributed to each course.  This certificate supersedes the previous certificate and does not indicate that he completed two of each course.  In addition, I uploaded the hours to the **** registered with his PTIN.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Mr. ********************** did finally report ****** to the ***.  All my other ********************* report to the ***.  I need the *** to track my CPEs in case I'm audited by the *********** to prove my education requirements. 

  This all could have been avoided but Mr. ********************** refused to respond to my emails and phone calls.  Because of this, I will not be doing business with his company any more.
