When I came to tour the community, we discussed me getting a fully upgraded apartment that was the same as the model with stainless steel appliances, on the first floor as I have a 5 year old. After my application was approved, that changed to black appliances and I was willing to work with that. We had a talk about me not wanting to pay the Jetty bond. I was offered another unit with 1 month free rent. After viewing the apartment, I advised that I would pay the Jetty bond because I didnt like what I saw.Yesterday, I came to do a walk through, and the apartment I am scheduled to be moving in (1322 B) looks nothing like the model. It actually looks JUST LIKE the apartment I told the staff I didnt like, only with dated white countertops. This feels like somewhat of a bait and switch. All in all, I would like the apartment that we discussed before I submitted my application. If you would have shown me the unit I am scheduled to be moving into, I wouldnt have done the application at all. If you dont have any units available for my move in date, I would like the following refunded to me, so that I can complete a new application somewhere that offers what I am requesting.Refund Request: Application Fee: $75.00 Admin Fee: $225.00 Thank you for your understanding and assistance. I look forward to hearing from you soon. My refund was supposed to arrive at the leasing office for me to pick up before 2/15. Advenir at Adams Farm offers units with a variety of renovation styles.   **************, which was viewed by the customer, has black appliances, and we offer select units with stainless steel appliances. The apartment that the customer applied for,was not available to show.  The customer was not satisfied with the amenities in the unit that was available for her move-in date. It is a priority for us that our residents are satisfied with the apartments they will call home.  We agreed to refund the admin fee for a total of $225 as application fees are non-refundable. Unfortunately, the check was lost in the mail and we issued a new one. We have been in constant communication with the customer, including on the date she filed the complaint. We have kept her informed during the process. The office received the check, and the customer she has been notified.

We noticed upon moving in on 10/04 that there were multiple issues with the apartment. We discussed it with an employee at the leasing office. Our fridge seemed to not be working properly due to the ice in the freezer melting together. We reported this immediately to the apartments. They came twice to look at it. The first time telling us they were going to see if they had an extra fridge available. After about two weeks of not hearing back from the apartments we put in another work order. A week later a maintenance man came to our apartment, scraped ice off the back of the freezer and left. I have made the apartments aware that this issue has still not been fixed. The fridge/ freezer is not cold at all. Our food is spoiling within a few days due to this not being at the right temperature. Nothing is remotely cold in the fridge area, milk is spoiling. Food and drinks that sit in room temperature environments harbor bacteria, especially when frozen foods are consistently being thawed out. This is a serious health issue and the apartments lack of care needs to be addressed.
