1 starIf I could give 0 stars I would. My wife noticed a leak on the ceiling in our laundry room, so I went up into the attic to look for any leaks and I noticed my plumping pipe vent was completely detached from the rest of the piping therefore any rain that made its way into the pipe attached to the roof went straight onto my insulation in the attic and eventually seeping through the insulation and creating water damage on my ceiling. I've called them multiple times, speaking with **** to see what can be done about this issue. I asked **** if the people who were putting my new roof in did any inspections to verify that everything was still intact after removing the old pipe boot and she only has blamed other services like pluming and HVAC for my pipe getting disconnected. **** offered me to have people sent out to inspect and fix the issue and if they claimed it wasn't their fault they would charge me a fee. I then was told after she spoke with their manager that they come out to inspect and fix my pipe for free. They came by today and reattached my plumbing pipe. After speaking with **** and she told me that I wasn't going to get charged for them coming to fix my pipe, they called me after the work was done and they left to tell me I was being charged a $99 fee. ** the owner of Maven called me after the repairs were already made and the guys from Maven already left saying that **** will get with me and send me an invoice for their $99 service fee after I was previously told them coming out and doing the repairs was completely free and they were waiving all charges. Once again not taking responsibility for their mistakes. Also I was told if I dont pay the service fee that I was never told about until after the work was completed, my roof would no longer be covered under their warranty. I highly disapprove of Maven. They are very unprofessional and will blame other services for their own mistakes.Review fromPaul F

1 starP.F.We had Maven Roofing 10/18/2023 do some work for us and boy did we get taken to the cleaners , they installed a product called Uniflex Silicone 44 made by ******* - ******** . And less then 2 months the leaks started appearing. , The paperwork that was on line from ******* - ******** calls for the roof to be washed first which never happened. Secondly the paint the Uniflex adheres to must dry and in the paperwork 24 to 48 hours . They did the painting and application of the Uniflex in 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 hours. Gee I wonder how well the Uniflex is going to stick to " WET PAINT " it's not rocket science it didn't. And a year later it is coming off by the hand fulls. Get on face book and look up " Maven Disadvantage " you can see 2 videos where the the gentle breeze is taking the stuff of by the hand fulls. And I'm sorry the other part of the problem they didn't use a drop cloth to prevent the Uniflex and the paint from splattering all over the walls. And of course their is an easy 400 + drips and drops on 7 out of 8 walls. We will continue to post pictures as there are over 200 of them.Last but not least they have offered us a full refund as part of a " Nondisclosure / General Release that basically lets them off the hook and doesn't do any repairs to the house or it's walls and I'm sorry simply put we refuse to be part of a " Cover Up " . The job cost us $6240 ,and we had a Public Adjusting firm estimate the repairs at $68,878.62 now why would we accept the lower amount and have to redo the roof and walls ?I hope they don't burn you as well , " Consumer Beware " They won't do what they say and the other being when you get a chance go to face book and read their contract first before you hire them WARNING WARNING.Review fromTina M

Took my money, did not show up for the job. Called me tried to bully me for more money, telling something needed me replaced when I knew it did not. No permits. No one even went up on my roof at any time. One guy showed up without a ladder. Told me I was getting my money back in writing. Not once but twice. Then the The phones call came.: Let's talk what can we do to improve. The Intimidation started escalated to Extortion. Even after telling him How ill I was he kept on going. I'm 67, served in **** and *********** This guy can put a War Lard to shame. I notified the BBB which I was told Maven Ignored. I also filed a complaint with the *****************************. It has been well over a month. I had to save for almost 5 years to put that money together. Shame on you.Maven Roof

The homeowner submitted a written cancellation on August 19, 2024, after materials had been delivered to the home and the project was set to begin that same day. Since the roof replacement was valued at under $15,000 and no structural changes were planned, ************* did not require a permit. The request for additional funds stemmed from a change order for the replacement of rotted wood on the roof. While the homeowner had the option to decline this change order, the homeowner signed an agreement to proceed with the wood replacement. Furthermore, the homeowner executed two separate contracts that clearly outlined the scope of work, as well as the associated contractual agreements, including a cancellation ****** accordance with these terms, the company issued a refund check for the deposit, less the cancellation fee. However, the homeowner returned the check, demanded a full refund, and subsequently began making defamatory statements about the company on social media. These actions constitute a direct violation of the contract signed. While the company understands the homeowner's frustration, it is important to note that the homeowner is in breach of contract on three separate counts.Review fromtheresa a

1 stari wouldn't even give them 1 star, this company was hatched after their old company went under and had the worst reputation around here in ************/****** **. after Hurricane ******** hit here in **, they took on so many jobs and screwed just as many homeowner and renters over. they would lie & tell the owners that the job was done or the tenant won't let them in or they would tell the tenants that the owners will not pay them for the job, meanwhile they were paid in full by insurance companies and by the owners. i am a property manager who sadly got stuck working with them with about 15 homes and all were not completed until 2 years after the hurricane, some not until 2021. so now with their new company, they are trying to sceam homeowners/tenants by saying they were sent out to do work and thank god my tenant knows i will always call her first and she turned them away. who would have to pay for the roof work if she allowed them to get on the roof ? they are sneaky and not trustworthy, CONSUMER BEWARE!!!!Review fromLuis Miguel J.

1 starMy experience with Maven Roof was the worse that I have experienced with any service. I order a roof repair back on 4/26/22 where I paid on full instead the 50% that their contract stays because I hoped that the repair could get done quicker if an opening come up for my house any time earlier. I was told from costumer Success Manager that the repair was place on their schedule for the next 4-6 weeks, I ask multiple times what date the was schedule for and they could not give me an answer until the 3 week that I decide to reach out my real state agent where she was the one who recommend me Maven Roof, unfortunately Maven office put the work order under my real state agent name however, I request to have the PO name changed to my name during the payment but they never did. Work as schedule for 5/18/22 but Maven called my real state agent on 5/17/22 where she did not know anything about the PO, she told Maven roof to call me because the house was sold in mid April, 2022. Unfortunately I keep calling and asking when the work was going to get do but Maven Roof could not tell me when they told me 2 different dates but they did not make it so I decided to cancel. Their contract stays that a 25% it get charge for cancelling after 3 business days where I see is way to high it may not even legal. I requested to get the 25% fee waived do it to the inconvenience on 6/9/22 and they agree. Maven management told me that it would take 10 business days to get the reimbursement approved which I waited and they could not pay me back until 7/11/22 after I reach out to Kent the Owner of the company to stop this horrible experience with them. Not sure about other experiences but holding the payment for such a long time is not far for any customer neither impose a high fee. I want to post my experience with this company so you can avoid the headaches that I had to go thru for about 4 months. PO was over $1,700.00Review fromJohn D

5 starsWe researched multiple Master Elite GAF roofers in our area for our large roof replacement project. **** ********* from Maven came and did a very professional job in getting our estimate put together. He was timely, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. He explained how the company works and would execute our job and contacted his management to get us the best pricing and options for our project. I would recommend **** and Maven for quality roofing projects.
