    I booked and paid for lodging for two nights - August 2 and August 3, 2024 to attend my Family Reunion in Henderson, **. On Saturday night, there was an awful rain storm in which the hotel lost power. I had to walk up three stairs, retrieve my belongings by my phone flashlight, and drive back home in the middle of the night in the storm. This walk up three flights was made more difficult as I am recovering from a left knee replacement!I was told that I would be refunded for Saturday night's payment. However, I was only refunded the $100.00 deposit that was required at check-in for any hotel damages which might I incur. I had been relentless in my attempt to resolve this issue. It appears that the hotel is blaming Agoda, the booking company. I reserved this room on-line on the Baymont by Wyndham website. There is no reason why I would not be refunded for a service that was not delivered. It is not about the amount at this point in the dispute, it is about the principle. The hotel has NO reason to keep my money when I was displaced.

    The guest was refunded for one night stay when we lost the power. The refund amount was $109.25. Contacted the guest and the guest was happy with the refund.
