If I could give 0 stars, I would. They short-dated my 12 month lease by 10 days and then didn't give me my renewal papers until after the 60 day notice **** was up (they may not be legally obligated to do so, but I've never lived in a complex where they didn't give me this notice well in advance of the 60 day ****). This is the most crooked apartment complex I've ever lived in. Ever since the new owners took over, it has been nothing but increased rent (way over what it should be for this town) & giving people the run-around when they have questions or concerns. Look over your lease agreement VERY CAREFULLY before signing it. They're apparently incapable of doing math and will only let your lease go until the end of the month so they don't have to prorate it for you. The only amenities offered are a pool and a dilapidated tennis court that I've had to clean shattered glass off of just to use. The staff is condescending and not helpful at all. The apartments themselves are so old and outdated. The kitchen is the size of an actual cracker box. The plumbing is always messed up. The A/C unit looks like it came from the stone ages. I was paying less for a luxurious apartment along the coast that was newly built. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider this place, it's an all-around joke.

I have lived in the Cedar Rock apartments for years. So long, I've been through 2 changes in ownership/management. Each time they change ownership they raise the rent, but don't offer a service that commands that price compared to what I was getting initially. Never mind the fact that my unit hasn't been renovated at all.I have argued with the property management about fault on a repair when they never even performed preventative maintenance. They still don't perform PM. I hope if the ** goes out that they don't try to say it's my fault even though I'm not allowed to hire someone to just get it done. The road is in disrepair with potholes that go all the way through the asphalt. Shingles are missing from the roof of units. The siding looks dated and is rotted in places. I get all of this with a 40% rent increase year over year to the point that I'm now having to live paycheck to paycheck. The quality of the services provided doesn't warrant the price tag. I don't care what market value is. Since moving in, I've seen a 67% increase in my rent over a 3-4 year period.

A maintenance has made me feel extremely uncomfortable by yelling at me and being aggressive after he asked me what my issue was. I asked him to leave and he said no, hes from corporate. They then said I was getting a lease violation because I asked if three men, one of which had no uniform all needed to come inside my unit during a pandemic. And said I denied them entry during a emergency, even though they came in. She then asked me what about their safety? When he was the aggressor. Yesterday They came into my apartment without notice and ****** at the office said on a three way call that nobody had been in my apartment and the work orders were still active and if they had there would Be a door knocker. She then called back and said they had been there and she was sending the supervisor to fix the mess they made. 2.5 hours later nobody came so I called and asked for the person who enter my apartments name and she said they would handle it themselves. I asked for corporate number and was given a random email. I then informed her I was going to file a police report and 10 mins later she was knocking on my door, again, without notice wanting to enter I assume because she said she needed it for her report. The report she never mentioned until I said I was calling the law. She was very agitated and aggressive as if she was trying to intimidate me after I already told her several times she would get the info from the police. Very harassing and unprofessional behavior, she had no business coming here doing that after there was already animosity. She tried to cover up by saying thats what they were doing in my apartment, even tho she already admitted she had no knowledge of work being done and thats because they didnt do it! They violated the lease. They lost $700 of my money and told me to find it by the 24th of September or Ill be up for eviction. My stairs are caving in and my front door entry to the building and falling apart, its wet inside when it rains out.
