If I could give 0 stars I would. Pre-reserved a home back in August with a confirmation price. Just received the e-statement and payment plan at a 40% increase in what the home was reserved for. Was told it was "something that homeowners could just do" and try to blame the inflation rate. In my opinion, this is a poor and deceptive business practice especially when people are relying on early booking for a family vacation. The worst part is, they refused to refund a minimal "pre-reservation" fee. This business doesn't look out for families, only for profit.

We stayed 1 night at a Topsail realty represented property. We were scheduled to stay there a week. The condition of the property was totally misrepresented. The property was unlivable. It was filthy and the overall condition of the unit was absolutely unacceptable. We left after 1 night due to to these conditions. We were concerned for our health. I would be very reluctant to stay at any property represented by topsail due to the fact that they misrepresent the condition of the property they represent, When we tried to resolve a equitable resolution we were met with a very unprofessional manager. When we tried to discuss our situation we were hung up on. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Rented a house for a week from Topsail. House was lovely on approach. The trash can was overfilled when we pulled up. We made the company aware immediately, on the Sunday we arrived. They promised someone would be by in the next day or so. No one came until Thursday, after animals went through the trash and spread it all over the yard. They didn't take the spread trash or the trash in the can, only the overfill over the lid. Our own trash has had to be piled up in the house and it smells like trash inside. Worse, the house is infested with fleas. It took almost 2 days, dozens of calls, and an in-person visit to their office for someone to even respond. They sent someone to visit the house. And that person seemed to claim we thought some other bug was fleas and we didn't know what fleas are. I sent multiple pictures of fleas found in the home to the company and the manager, ***** ********, merely responded by splitting hairs about the definition of vermin. When I expressed my disappointment and my concern for my toddler, he didn't respond to those concerns and just repeated the same canned words, before hanging up on me. I never raised my voice or was insulting. I have never in my life been tested so badly by someone who is the manager of a business. I am not a "*****." I just wanted a safe place for my child to sleep. The other employee I spoke with said they couldn't decide whether those pictures were fleas, and responded as if they had never seen the pictures. The company offered to send someone to spray chemicals while my toddler was sleeping, told us to get out of the home for 5 hours, refused to put us in a cheap hotel, or give a discount or refund of any kind. The home is dirty, overfilled with trash, pest infested, and simply unsafe. The company has failed to adequately respond to any of the problems. I have gone to beach houses for more than a decade and never encountered anything kind this. I would strongly discourage anyone to do business with Topsail.
